Does it make people feel powerful somehow to loudly announce how uninterested they are in something? Particularly since the inherent irony of the situation is childish in its simplicity?

I know you feel powerful whenever you post, almighty one.

There used to be a time when I would preorder ANYTHING with the Bioware logo attached.

Sadly, that time has passed. Only now do I understand the need to adopt a "wait and see" approach. Which is unfortunate, really, because Bioware has long been my favorite developer.

How the mighty have fallen...

They do that obnoxious "pre-order here, get something different" stuff. Not worth pre-ordering.

This thread is far more indicative of the foolishness of some of the people here than the foolishness of BioWare.

And yet, here you are contributing to the foolishness. If you have a problem with a thread move along, don't add to it.

Except they never stated that the fans should like it just because the reviewers did.

They were just grateful for all the good reviews they got. Calm down.

LOL good on them, they also used it as damage control, worse, as criticism continued their answer became "now please tell us what you liked about it" as opposed to acknowledging they ****ed up

Positive feedback is just as constructive as negative. If people were as vocal about the things they liked as much as the things they didn't like then Bioware would know not to remove certain aspects for future games. I feel like the ME trilogy suffered a bit because of the lack of that important feedback.

You're trying to antagonize them over things that aren't a big deal in the first place.

you ****ing kidding me? how long have you been here? back when ME was released there was TONS of perfectly valid eloquently put feedback about, say, the mako and the inventory but rather than listening specifically to how to improve them bioware chose to just freaking remove them or dumb them down for no reason in the case of the RPG progression and skills.

Bioware hears what they want to hear mostly and RARELY admits any wrongdoings or failures

hell to this day only ONE dev acknowledged we were screwed by the multi player gimmick to get the breath scene.

Should we also not speak about linearity? awful treatment of secondary characters? auto dialogue? nearly worthless RPG features? dumbed down ally progression even after we were told this was not going to happen again? TwitterCanon?

come the **** on

I love this series so much that I may find it impossible to resist buying. I will not preorder though, at least not until there is more info on the next game

Depends on what they offer really. If it's some cool stuff with the pre-order, than sure. If it's some lame add on that doesn't do anything(DOG MECH!!!), than I won't.

That's worked out well for me so far, why change it now?

if there was enough info on the game available, I would probably still preorder. I was as disappointed in some aspects of the game as anyone else, but I have played and enjoyed the multiplayer and single player games for hundreds and hundreds of hours. Much more so than almost any other game I have played.

Why do people pre-order other than for the perks? It's not like the games going to be sold out, and even if it is it won't be for long.

If not for the bonuses from wherever you pre-order, why pre-order a game you know you can get otherwise?

It's not so much about ME3 or the ending anymore. It's about BioWare. I don't like that they can't take criticism about anything because they cant come down off that mountain of theirs. They're too defiant, and too arrogant. The way they passive-aggressively attacked the community for not liking their ending, instead of accepting they made a mistake...was the same as when DA2 failed. They get all childish. I'm almost 29 years old. I left high school behind years ago.

See, this precisely why I have still refrained from even beating ME3 (Youtube a lot). The condescending attitude and utter disregard from BioWare regulated them far on the backburner. It cemented they could care less about the fanbase when we are not lavishing them with praise admist any criticism. "We're listening." Evidently, not.

Gaider's crusader defense for a blatant retcon was hilarious though, if only because the sheer idiocy of it.

And you know what I absolutely LOOOOOOOVVVe about that? that some actually seem to deem it a perfectly reasonable excuse, and that the ones complaining about said retcon should stfu.

Anyway, I will absolutely never again preorder from a company that goes all high and mighty on me for not liking certain aspects of their product. Well guess what BW, my wallet gives u the finger too.

Well I buy almost all my games from the Gamestop near my house because I have a friend there, and sometimes I get the games early.  But they don't stock PC versions of the game.  So the only way you can get a PC copy day one is if you pre-order.  So when I say I'm not pre-ordering, I'm basically saying it's not a day one buy, and I'll have to wait and see what I hear about it.

I still like the Mass Effect department of Bioware, so I could end up preordering ME4.

As for DA3? No bloody way.

It's only a failure in the sense that they don't meet your expectations. They have no reason to apologize for it.

You're acting like this is as bad as the BP oil spill and that they should publicly come out and do this:

And BTW, tone down your passive aggressiveness so I can start to take you seriously.
