Just wondering what the target audience is for this game? Not trolling just curious as to who the target audience is for this game.

For instance it is clear that the Witcher 2 was writen to appeal more to a older more mature male audience and while it was the greatest RPG to be released in recent years it wasnt as well recieved by the younger and female audiences.

So who is the target audience for Dragon Age 3?

Witcher 2 is made to appeal to young male teens. Dragon Age series is made to appeal to everyone.

Witcher 2 > All Bioware games.

Let it begin!

Also, I don't think Bioware made Dragon Age II with 5 year olds in mind, so I think you're definition of 'everyone' is a bit off.

You're right, Call of Duty got that fanbase covered.

Using my super awesome psychic powers I am going to say if you think the Witcher 2 is all about sex then you clearly lack the maturity to appreciate the game.

You could always deny that was what you were thinking but my super awesome psychic powers see through all ruses.

As much as I would like to say that it's a rated M game that wasn't made in mide with appealing to Middle Schoolers as well, I really can't deny that.

I honestly don't know, OP.

IMO, the only way to be certain is to understand the developers' thoughts on yaoi.

Funny you think I made a general assumption while that's exactly what you're doing as well.

Nope, not even about sex, I actually like the sex scenes, but you can think whatever you want, I guess. :?

Count me in the target audience too. Definitely mature, not male. I can't speak for The Witcher, as the book eight deadly worded me so thoroughly I've never had the urge to try the game.

I am sure there are at least some people on the dev team who are are open to the idea, they did include Zevran and Anders after all.

So Witcher 2 is not only better then any Bioware game, but also makes you feel younger.

Like I said, keep thinking that, I don't really care what Witcher fanboys think.

Witcher wasn't made to appeal anyone specific. What you can see in the Witcher is what you can read in the novels. They even had Sapkovski as advisor during production.

Ok that is probably true and a poor choice of words on my part as the developers seemed to care more about creating a great game rather than who their target audience was.

Still the end product was one that did happen to be appreciated more by the older, more mature male audience.

Sorry, I'm nipping this beast in the bud simply because there's assumptions over what does and does not constitute mature gaming and that just never ends well.
