I don't fight alongside Darkspawn, I kill them on sight.

So everyone just ignores the taint yeah? Smart move.
your companions in dao came in contact with darkspawn plenty of times, they even went in the deep roads. none showed any signs of the taint.

I would rather a Qunari companion.
We already got one with Sten, and technically by religious affiliation, Tallis in Mark of the Assassin. She is of the Qun, if not Kossith, which is what I assume you mean by Qunari.

That's what I hope to be able to do if we're forced to have that dullard Cullen in the party...
I kid, somewhat. I don't see what the big deal with Cullen is or why so many people are crazy about him, but I don't actually believe in killing companions just for the sake of it.
I prefer a situation like in Mass Effect where we were forced to choose between two squadmates, deciding which one lived and died. I tend to choose Ashley 9 times out of 10, but that's beside the point.

In Awakening, Armaas was promised protection from the Taint from the Architect.
Given that Wardens can sense the taint in living beings as well as inanimate objects -- Duncan shows this for both and Anders for Bethany/Carver only -- and the Warden is not able to actually say "But I sense the Taint in you", it's evident that the Architect has indeed found a way to protect living beings from the Taint and Armaas was given it -- especially since Armaas was interacting directly with the Darkspawn.

Your one of them sane folk.
I rather have a Vex memer (new species introduced by the devs I think). Or a Qunari. Something different from the common Human, variety would be nice.

Nope.

And spread the taint to every place I visited with him along.
Maybe. But for all we know the Architect's protection makes anyplace Darkspawn inhabit untainted by their presence. IIRC, the Silverite Mines that served as the Architect's headquarters for a few months didn't show any signs of being tainted, whereas the Deep Roads -- specifically Bownammar's caverns that led to the Broodmother -- showed signs of being tainted.
Though one should note that the corruption Darkspawn cause and the corruption Demons/Abominations cause are apparently remarkably similar, as Morrigan tells us.

Taking bad guys and making them good just has a way of cheapening them. It's already hard for people to remember that the Qunari are technically the bad guys in Theades, wanting to conquer the world and subjugate everyone (think of the mage freedom threads that would come out if the Qunari took over... man that'd be almost worth seeing, lol), after having Sten in the party.
In general I agree with you except for the part were the qunari are evil. It's not that they are an evil race, it's more that there way of thinking is so different from the rest of Thedas that it invites conflict. A qunari companion is thus a great way of learning more about those ideas without biased propagande and thus allowing us to make are own opinion.

I didn't mean to imply that they were evil, just that in the land of Thedas they would be considered the "bad guys" to most people.
