I set out to play the TGI in the dumbest way possible on a Gold PUG.

Throughout this match, I did not ever take cover, not even soft cover.  I made no attempt to avoid any incoming fire, and did not dodge or run except to get ammo or when there were no enemies around.  The only defensive action I took was to walk backwards from enemies that could instakill or grab or melee me.  I basically face-tanked all attacks with his ridiculous stim-packs.

Offensively, I never scoped in or aimed for any heads.  I just hip-fired in the general direction of the torso of everything in sight while cycling cloak and overload.

The results:
No deaths
No consumables used
Top Score
22 minute clear time

It was a reasonable clear time, my teammates were not bad.  But the TGI is clearly too powerful..

I honestly don't know what BW was thinking when they gave this guy stim packs. I mean he already has the utility of cloak and overload as welll as great dps from his passives and skills. Why give him ANOTHER panic button to get him out of a bad situation? Oh well just glad this game is co-op and not pvp.

Oh come on, they only have cooldown independent 4000 shields on demand combined with aggro dumping, uber DPS, high base shields, shield stripping, and an amazing dodge! You're clearly jealous of everyone who outscores uou with TGI.

Now do the same against the Collectors using the Geth Pulse Rifle.

It's baby's first gold class, much like the kroguard.

But it's most certainly not OP.

he was made with platinum in mind, you really want a useless character in platinum? also he is a good character for those who afraid still to move to gold, fairly easy to use, allow you to stay alive more easially, learn the waves mor or less, then move on to a diffrent character when you have enough confidance, let people play whatever they want, if you dont like it, play private games.

Lol. I particularly like the parts where you purposely refused to dodge grenades or falling brute corpses, with no consequences at all. Or flat out ignored ravagers firing at you. It's like watching a krogan with a harrier play bronze.

Try playing U/U or against Reaper in Condor

I'll give you "no skill", but he's not really that OP. High single target damage is a role filled by several other characters who have other utilities more useful to skilled players (Hunter Mode and so on and so forth)

BSN. Won't give up until every kit is identical, we don't like to call it nerf's we like to call it balance!

I really doubt a video was needed to show how silly the TGI is. Funny thing is tho you can do pretty much the same with the bat soldier, krogan soldier, krogan sent, havok, kroguard etc... None of those take any real skill.

Seriously try the same with with the bat soldier if you think the TGI is too powerful. Throw grenade, cast ballistic blades and watch as entire spawns vanish, all without the need to move or take cover or do anything that requires more than one hand!

I still continue to not understand the need for nerfs in a Co-op game...

I find this silly comment, whats next the "Asari Huntress takes no skill?" ahahhahaha I'll hear those lines later when they fix her cloak up

(And to my abouve poster)

Nerfing/buffing to a Co-OP game is a evelution of balances atm we are a cosnatly eveolting game and once soemthgin enters the field somethgin might becoem what refrenced as too strong of a combo, which leads to all playing that combo purely, this then overshadows the balance between all characters existing which all have their place and awsomeness to them, just some peopel feel liek they wanna WHINE all the time about imbalances when BW is already aware of this cluttering out forums with nerfy threads

The game needs to be harder.  Husks should have a sync-kill.

So you use one of the best classes, with one of the best weapons for that class, slap on an ammo power, and to top it off you use a grenade increasing gear (Warfighter 5?)... and you're somehow surprised at the end result being anything less than bad@s$?

There are plenty of setups in this game that given the right combination of things is "overpowered"... quite frankly I dont know why people care so much about whether or not something is "OP" because you dont have to use it, and you dont have to play with anyone who does if you dont want to.

This just screams of "DUH!"

OP you should gather all your friends and get them to post more "The Turian Ghost NEEDS A NERF!!!!!" threads

Because everyone knows that if there is enough "nerf-spam" threads maybe Bioware will act on it.

[/end of bad advice]

Time to sit back and enjoy the show.

i dont care either way, but people are missing the point..
i am not supporting ops claim for a nerf or whatever but im not going to say hes lying either.

one of the drawbacks of infiltrators was not being able to get your shields back if you cloak without waiting for them to come back, at some point you have to take off your cloak and chill for a sec to have 100% shields again if you kill alot of stuff that was firing back or get shot up. and not only does this guy negate that, he can cure himself. with grenades, that require no cooldown.
you can literally stand on top of a gold grenade and not even move because you can just use a stim pack and keep shooting...

i dont care if hes op or not. i certainly dont want them to make him "worse"
but comparing him to other characters because of what you can do OFFENSIVELY is irrelevant.

Hmmm....well this is how I usually play the game to begin with and I'm usually fine.
