Yes, an OP class is called OP because of their good kits, not their bad ones. Anyone saying he has to be shown as OP with crappy weapons fails logic.
Speak for yourself. An infiltrator that specializes in AR damage paired with a Harrier loaded with equipment will deal a ****ton of damage?

I set out to play the TGI in the dumbest way possible on a Gold PUG.
Throughout this match, I did not ever take cover, not even soft cover. I made no attempt to avoid any incoming fire, and did not dodge or run except to get ammo or when there were no enemies around. The only defensive action I took was to walk backwards from enemies that could instakill or grab or melee me. I basically face-tanked all attacks with his ridiculous stim-packs.
Offensively, I never scoped in or aimed for any heads. I just hip-fired in the general direction of the torso of everything in sight while cycling cloak and overload.
The results:
No deaths
No consumables used
Top Score
22 minute clear time
It was a reasonable clear time, my teammates were not bad. But the TGI is clearly too powerful..
This again?
So my Volus Adept needs a nerf too? Cause all I do with him is running around, abusing shield boost for invincibility frames and wrecking everything with my <insert the name of a powerful weapon here>.
Same goes for the Kroguard.
Do you even think before you post an idiotic thread like this?

Yeah, I always use equipment, they all did too. If you don't use equipment, you are a bad selfish person and should feel bad. I have more of the stuff than I know what to do with, and it just keeps piling up. Especially ammo.
So if im dont using in a gold pug only gear bonus and still doing well, should i feel myself bad too? I spare my equipment bonuses for private friend games or solo runs, since lately in 95% extract a gold pug w/o equipment. Well, i dont say i never use them, but most of the time i skip. And no, im not just talking about TGI.

Off-topic, make another thread and tell me about it and I'll be happy to argue there about whether or not its selfish to not use equipment in a team effort.

This class can do it too? Okay, play the Volus Adept and use Shield Boost when your barriers are down. It's an unlimited Stim Pack. Play the Kroguard and Biotic Charge everything. Stim Pack + direct damage. Play the Vorcha, doesn't need a Stim Pack, HE GETS HIS HEALTH BACK WITH BLOODLUST.MuKen wrote...

I'm pretty sure the assault rifle perk in TC stacks too, and I think stim packs give short invincibility frames.Distilled Poison wrote...
Oh come on, they only have cooldown independent 4000 shields on demand combined with aggro dumping, uber DPS, high base shields, shield stripping, and an amazing dodge! You're clearly jealous of everyone who outscores uou with TGI.
Totally not OP though.
If we're going to have the TGI, unnerf my destroyer's three shot raider Bioware. He wasn't OP in the first place.

Kroguard kind of ridiculous if he has a high level cyclonic modulator, but the other two are easily killed by powerful attacks because their health/shield gates can't just automatically regenerate. The vorcha isn't tanky at all, and I don't even find the volus tanky without a cyclonic mod.TheCandlejack wrote...

I know you play platinum. I don't see how you can deny how ridiculous the class is...
The class won't be nerfed though. If he gets nerfed, they'll have to kill his powers to make a difference.

Maybe, if you tried it yourself, you wouldn't be making stupid threads. And I'm pretty sure you've played the Krogan Vanguard before, no?

This is how I feel on the matter. I only started playing Gold regularly about a week ago. It's nice to have a "safe" class you can go to when you're still adjusting to the difficulty curve. I paid attention to what sort of things changed in Gold (enemies hurt more, are more aggressive, stagger less, etc), then switched to a class that I actually enjoyed, playing with the mechanics changes in mind and adjusting my strategy accordingly. I also use him in two-man sessions with my friends when they're looking for easy XP after a promotion/just learning a new class.Lord_Sirian wrote...
It's baby's first gold class, much like the kroguard.
In summary: the Ghost is a class for beginners. His utility and survavibility allow lots of room for error for poor little newblings who would otherwise panic and ragequit. Instead of begging for nerfs (and trusting Bioware to know how the hell to properly balance things lol), why not skip the Stim Packs on your next build? Alternatively, play a real man's class.

If you think a character is OP and not enough challenge, just don't play it.
I'm an average player but I don't do as well with the TGI as I do with my best character the AV. I have a greater affinity with Vanguards than Infiltrators so I disagree. The TGI needs the skill of being able to play as an Infiltrator. It may be the best Infiltrator but it doesn't make it the best character in the game. Why do I not see everyone running it - I actually don't see it all that often - The initial interest seems to have worn off.
Like I said, if you don't like it, play as something else. Try playing as your least affective character as a personal challenge.
I just don't get some people.

Your points will come off a little better without the spittle.
And, I know this will sound incredible, but maybe the most popular solo class also is OP and takes no skill.

Whichever class is the best at doing X will always be considered OP. The answer is not to make that class suck at X, but to learn an alternative strategy. That strategy, if just as if not more effective as the original one, will rise in popularity until the first strategy becomes obsolete. If every class is equally good or bad at everything, the game will quickly become stale. And, I know this will sound incredible, but maybe the most popular solo class also is OP.
Since I suck at explaining stuff, I'm going to link to this video.
