Yeah I want to know if high velocity barrel has an effect on my GPS, because I use it on my geth trooper to have more weapon damage against armor, but If the shotgun already ignores armor damage reduction, I'll switch to high caliber barrel to have a better recharge speed on flamer.

The GPS does benefit from the smart choke but only at longer ranges where the auto aim doesn't kick in.

Yes the HVB's piercing and penetration effect does not affect the GPS at all.

People who say using a smart choke of the GPS always claim that it increases accuracy for shooting targets beyond lock-on. Ironically, the smart choke does nothing at all for shots fired without tracking.

Is there a thread (it would be a large thread) that lists each weapon and then each useful modification for it after?

Would be pretty nice to see a list that everyone could reference quick and easily. I know sometimes when I play with a certain kit, I like change it up and use either a different character and/or weapon. And then sometimes I can't remember if I like clip capacity/armor piercing, or extra rounds/smart choke, etc.

Thanks for this, I knew the armor piercing stuff did not affect projectile weapons, however I had no idea that projectile weapons ignored armor DR.

I don't see alot of people using the gps much anymore despite claims to the contrary. Lately a trend I've been seeing. I don't in general see alot of these weapons save the striker, however it's normally in a missile glitch setup.

I think these weapons would see more use if they weren't buggy off host.

Krysae Sniper Rifle is a very good rifle guys...it is simply different, you can be inaccurate and land, you can hit 2 or possibly more enemies at once, more importantly as I said before you do not have to be precise, do does really quick shooting and move

I think the only thing the weapon needs is perhaps a reload or ammo boost, other than that it is good

thanks for this, really helps me but I play plat a lot and I am doing challenges....I still must put on ammo piercing because I run after guardians lol

Look in the patch notes for the krysae. That was an intentional nerf that further sunk the damn thing down the toilet. It's why I keep saying, that thing is never gonna see any buffs. I would be suprised if the gun doesn't get another nerf.

A real shame that weapon was nerfed so much. It was awesome, the best weapon in the game and now it's rubbish. Not only damage but RoF too went from 120 to 50, that is a nerf of a 58.4%, which is really unfair considering stupid weapons were never nerfed and a few more were greatly buffed, not to mention the Turian Havok who was crazily buffed.
