Since MP banners are textures just like any others, it's pretty straightforward to replace them with anything to your liking. I'm guessing this wouldn't get you banned of MP, since it's done via Texmod and doesn't impact gameplay.

As a disclaimer, I'd like to point out that:

• I'm not doing this because I don't like the original banners (i.e. i hate broShep and volus), but because I enjoy doing these.
• I try to make these as believable as possible, i.e. as close as possible to the original banners, meaning, same style, colour palette and so on.
• There are technical restrictions that won't allow you to put any type of creations in (colour depth, mainly).

If you're unfamiliar with Texmod, please refer to the Biotoc God project for explanations and files.

What I did so far:

• femShep version for Best of the Best Banner
• Kaidan version for Biotic God banner

Currently planning to do a femShep Lone Wolf banner.

Other than that, well, it's... Photoshopping, sorry wouldn't know how to explain
Basically, you'd need to duplicate that layer, erase some parts, play with transparency and blending, adjust colour, until you're happy with it

Those look great. I think Bioware should just allow a bunch of banners for people to pick and choose from.
