So... like Unreal Tournament 2004... I'll admit, I loved playing that game... then, my dad's pc broke... I did have the third one, but I sucked so bad at it... I remember how fun it was to attempt Warfare, though.

*researches UT series*

Okay, apparently, Unreal Tournament 3 supports modding on the PS3 version, along with mouse/keyboard support... I gave that game to my cousin... oh, the regrets...

As long as it doesn't involve PvP, I don't mind.

Yes, but with ME3 objectives - not like UT.  Some SinglePlayer Campain Maps could be redone - ME2 has although Maps that could fit into MP with little to no effort - that means cost.

Ah, I see... Well, UT was the very first game I've ever played that had Warfare/Domination thing... Fun times. Can't imagine we'll have that type of game mode, though. Would be cool for the next game... Along with that modding support thing! And keyboard/mouse support thing! And vehicles, since Warfare makes more sense with vehicles!

No vehicles - thats too much effort for ME3MP, because you have to program this stuff into MP it might need a recompile of the Runtime Engine thats bad. There are other things you could do or the Devs at Bioware can add - the Turrets from the SinglePlayer Campain for example - this can be done in a short time frame.

Warfare would go in one direction not in a circle though.

1 you have to open a door
2 you need to destroy something
3 you have to extract

something like that - there is a hole bunch of things you can do with whats already there without rewriting the Runtime.

Are you suggesting maps with capture points that the team has to hold? I assume it would have point caps, but the first thing that sprung to mind reading the thread title was Battlefield's conquest mode, but the reinforcement system wouldn't work as well.

I'd rather have coop campaign like UT's Assault mode, but any new game mode would be great.

Capture Points- yep, thats Domination. We have something already "hacking" but why not hack 2 points at the same time ?

Warfare/Conquer is you progress forward you have to establish a forward base to move on, say 3 times. At each stage you can throw in waves as we have right now while you have to open a door or disable/distroy something to move on.

Everything that is possible in short time frames and without recompiling the Runtime, i dont think Bioware wants to spend too much time with ME3MP anymore but new gamemodes are not too much work and a few new Maps.

for example Firebase Jade at Night, Firebase Dagger at Night the dont have to add too much they only have to hit recompile and its done.

The way you describe Warfare/Conquer reminds me of War mode from Call of Duty: World at War, which was a lot of fun. I can see singleplayer story maps being remade for that game type, since a lot of them are linear. Have multiple points of entry to a capture area, and then once you get in, hold it for a certain time to establish it as a base before unlocking the next one.

Yes - i although think/keep the MP Devs of Bioware in mind - they can´t do everything but there is stuff that CAN BE DONE !

Night Maps - no time frame almost - can be done. Adding a tactical light for weapons takes more time and i am not sure if they would do that.

To be honest, that's what I thought MP would be like when they first announced it. You rush trough levels with teammates and once you've reached the end, well it's the end!

I would mind having that, as long as it's well implemented and fits well with the classic multiplayer.
I'm not bored by it at all, it's still as fun as on day one, and possibly even better.

PvP should stay out of Mass Effect. Not only would it not work at all with the current system (Wraith X vs. Scimitar IV, the excitement!!!), it just feels... wrong? I know ME3 didn't invent horde mode, but it's definitely the best horde mode game I've played so far.  The PvP market is over-saturated anyway.

Saturated - thats good word use and use it to imagine what would happen if we on BSN play against each other...
Bioware will faint.

Serious, no PvP, i although believe thats not why we play ME3MP.

We're not going to get more game modes for ME3. If multiplayer returns for ME4 though, I would hope there are (non-PvP) objective-based modes.

I've wondered if they could do something as simple as reversing the object collection. Instead of capturing an object and bringing it to extraction, could we pick up an object and place it somewhere? Leviathan got me thinking about this.

I think people have opted these kind of modes before and I'm all for it.

It would be a nice change of pace if perhaps you started a map with a clear objective.
1. Hacking a Forcefield, retrieving objects and having to wait for the shuttle to come back with each retrieval.
2. Assault: capture control points around an area.
3. Evacuation: Get back to the shuttle, facing entrenched enemies and locked doors that you need to hack.

give me something akin to a progressional level ala ME2 suicide mission and I'll be a happy camper
