I've been scouring the internet for news like everyone else, but I have to ask: Does anyone know if anything has been said about choosing your race like in DA: O? Confirmed? Denied?

Safe to say, the protagonist in DA3 will be human only. I think it is a good thing and others disagree. But there it is.

That makes things better. Still slightly disappointed that I can't be an elf, but no elf will ever be as awesome as my Warden anyway, so it doesn't matter much. Thanks for the info!

Negative for races, you'll be Human.
what i am not sure about is if been an Inquisitor  forced or a choice.
If is a choice.. that wouldn't be so bad, not thrilled about it but.. meh.
if the entire game is about an Inquisitor and this Inquisitor can be a  blood mages ... I pass.

I guess I can deal with te fact we will be playing as a human.

BUT we will more thank likely get to play as multiple races in the MP ^^

Multiplayer though is little more than a gimmick tacked on.   I don't play an elf just to run around looking like an elf.   The whole point of playing a non-human race is to experience the setting and world from a different perspective.   I want my character to be viewed differently on first impressions.   I want the story and the quests to reflect the different worldview and perspective of both my character and how NPCs interact with my character.  

The MP (if its going to exist) has absolutely none of that.

As of yet, you have no idea what an inquisitor in Thedas even does. Sheesh.
