As you know, roughly every week (sometimes every two weeks), there is a multiplayer challenge.

Caution. The text in bold is stuff you probably already know.

These normally (not always) consist of a personal goal which leads to a commendation pack.
There can sometimes be a squad goal where every player across WiiU, PS3, XBOX 360 and PC contributes to. The squad goal leads to a victory pack.


With this is mind, come up with your own multiplayer challenge ideas.

Make your personal and squad goals achievable but very challenging at the same time.

Operation Marksman:

Personal goal:
Kill 2000 enemies under:

Marksman,
Adrenaline Rush,
Devastator Mode,
Geth Hunter Mode,
Tactical Cloak,
Tactical Scan (you only contribute points towards the challenge if you use tactical scan on an enemy and kill the very same enemy)
The brief weapon damage boost from Biotic Charge.

Squad Goal:

Complete 60,000 cumulative total extractions of Soldiers, Infiltrators and Vanguards

Operation Fellowship: (Similiar but not quite the same as Operation Detonator)

Personal Goal: Earn 30,000 points by participating in joint combos.

Joint combos work as follows. The player priming the combo and the player detonating the combo must be different players. If the same player primes and detonates the combo, then it doesn't count.

The combos also must kill the enemy.

A joint combo can be biotic explosion, incendiary explosion, cryo explosion, or tech burst.


Squad Goal: 50,000 full or partial extractions achieved within less than 25 minutes on any difficulty.

Operation Grenader:

Personal Goal: Earn 50,000 points from using grenades, proximity mines or recon mines.


Squad Goal: 20,000 extractions in teams that entirely consist of characters that have grenades, proximity mines or recon mines.

Operation Hazard Proof:


Personal Goal: Extractions against each of the four factions on hazard maps. Any difficulty.

Allied Goal: 30,000 extractions on hazard maps, any difficulty.

Operation Violation

Individual goal:  Get sync-killed by a Scion twice in the same match.
Community goal:  Ten thousand players must be sync-killed by any enemy... on Bronze

Operation Sharpshooter

Individual goal:  Obtain the Gold headshot medal 5 times.

Squad goal:  Full extraction on any map/enemy/difficulty with at least 2 players equipping only a sniper rifle.

Operation Santa Claus

Individual goal:  Deliver 3 packages to the drop point.  Drops are cumulative across matches.

Squad goal:  Complete the Package Delivery objective within 1.5 minutes.

Operation Untouchable

Individual goal:  Complete an entire match and extract without ever losing a segment of health.

Squad goal:  Full extraction without a teammate ever going down.  Two player minimum.

Sync-kills, or insta-kills, are performed by boss or sub-boss characters and take your character out of the fight/wave. Banshees, Brutes, Praetorians, Scions, Atlases and Phantoms all posses them. I'm sure you've experienced your fair share.

It's funny that you'd name that operation, Operation Violation.
Where I'm from the word "violation" has some negative connotations.

Individual goal:  Earn the maximum possible credits in a match.

Squad goal:  Full Extraction with all players using a Volus character.  Two player minimum.

I know Bronze credit maximum is 17,300 and for Silver it's 34,375, but since I don't play Gold/Plat I can't say.  Would be incredibly challenging to complete on the the higher difficulties as well.

Individual goal:  Extract on Silver or higher using a character that has no skill points invested.  No powers, no passives,                           no fitness.

Squad goal:  Full, Partial or Lone Survivor extraction with all characters using only Common weapons.  Two player
                     mimimum.

Common weapons are Avenger, Mantis, Katana, Predator and Shuriken.

Individual goal:  Extract on a Gold or Platinum match.

Community goal:  Ten thousand full extractions across all difficulties.

Now that is a challenge.
In order to beat the individual goal, you have to solo.
You will keep trying over and over again till you get the credit maximum, challenging both your skill, speed and endurance.

Then you've go to do start doing some squad matches as you struggle to find a fellow volus who has finally completed the individual goal.

Chances of the squad goal being beaten are low, unless few people are bothering wit hthe individual goal.

All in all, I say that is actually a good challenge, since it's actually challenging.
But since 2 of the voluses are ultra rare, one is rare and the other hasn't been released yet, there won't be many players who have unlocked any voluses yet.

Is the plural of volus just "volus" or  "volui" or "voloi" or "voluses" or "voli"?

No. Okay. I like challenging, but man.

Squad goal is fairly easy.
Individual goal is punishing. No skill points. Nothing? Wow. That's radio rental. (Look up radio rental).

But I want to make an alteration to the Individual Goal


Extract on Silver or higher using only the original human kits and using only common weapons.


Keep up the good ideas. I'm loving them so far.
