Has there been any official word on there not being any reveal at the VGAs?
Most devs have been telling us not to expect anything until like Spring, so I'd say chances are low.

Geoff Keighley tweeted about there being some exciting reveals at the VGA's. Could DA3 be one of them?
They had a teaser trailer for ME3 at the VGA Awards two years ago...so its possible.

Like people above have stated, the devs have numerous times stated that nothing will happenbefore spring
Um a trailer does not show game information...just so you know. <_<

They showed an ME3 trailer in 2010 and did NOT start revealing game info until the spring.
Trailers stir up excitment for the game

"Hey fans, we're not showing anything till spring sorry."
Meanwhile back at the Hall of Justice... I mean Edmonton.
"Get that VGA trailer ready, they are so going to wet themselves after seeing this, maniacal laugh!"

I'm guessing it will be the same for DA3. CGI trailers can be fun to watch but from the consumer's perspective they are completely useless for deciding if you want to buy a game or not.
I want to see gameplay footage, not some cinematics from Blur Studios that will never appear in the game. I was completely blown away by the CGI trailer for TOR, but the game sure did not look like that.

I wouldn't put much stock in the "nothing until Spring" statement by the devs. After the game was announced they told us not to expect anything until 2013 and then they released concept art and started talking about the game at conventions shortly thereafter.
Maybe if Bioware's founding fathers didn't leave the company. They probably intended to only reveal info in 2013. It was a way to put positive news out when Bioware had a lot of negativity surrounding them. I'm pretty sure even Chris said this...unless he was being sarcastic(which it didn't appear he was).

The announcement, concept art reveals, and forum discussions at conventions were all separate things. The games was announced with nothing to show, devs told us not to expect anything relating to the game until 2013, then released concept art, then said not to expect anything until Spring 2013, then started talking about details of the game at conventions. And then factor in that Bioware always lies on these foums about when news/announcements/products are coming and it seems pretty obvious that the last people we should trusting for timelines are the devs here. They have to do what they can to make announcements/reveals big so if they tell us about these things beforehand or tell us when to expect things then there's less excitement, less stir.
