I think combat can be improved with some RP elements. Now most combat situations look almost identical:
Enemy attacks you on sight and relentlessly fights PC to death even if battle becomes 100% unwinnable
no enemies try to escape or surrender. I think it would be much more interesting if for example they try to flee
and you have options to chase them or leave them be or if they decided to beg for mercy PC will get
let`s say 3 options like: kill them, let them go or enslave them.
More interesting combat.

No ty. I do not want to have to chase people down just to finish killing them. They should use their time on something else instead of this imo

Eh, maybe have them surrender, but don't have them run off on me. That'd be more annoying than interesting. I'd probably just let them go out of laziness. Now if it's someone luring you into an ambush...

I liked some of the situations, for example the Grace/Alain situation, which let you decide what to do with him. Maybe have some enemies surrender, allow certain ones to escape, etc.? Perhaps run into them later as productive members of society, or worse than they were?

You won`t need to chase anyone for long. Let`s say if distance between you and fleeing enemy increases to certain length he will be automatically considered escaped and battle is over.

After witnessing this in other games, I realy don't want to chase down people. If someone coming at you with a weapon he's probably allready willing to die. And considering you only have 3 companions, no battle is unwinnable... Who amongst us never kicked four asses who richly deserved it? In the end of the day,the winner is the guy who wanted it more.

Ergh, morale checks. Its just a bad experience in video games imo. The small increase in immersion is greatly outweighed by the aggravation.
