whats with the this biceps, huge waist / bottom and enormous hands on female characters? and the height?
I highly doubt this will get changed but i'll throw in my opinion anyway so the people at bioware can learn a lesson. (Which is odd because most of their other games had NORMAL looking people.)
Seriously, the female body mass should be adjustable, not every girl in the real world is 5"9. the man hands are horrible and off putting. Why do they have ENORMOUS hips and bottoms? i don't care if someone at your office has that kind of Fettish 95% of us DON'T!.
FEMALES
the hairstyles are laughable at best, there are 3 of the 12 or so i will use, the rest look CRAP. it's all good to say theres 3 million possible characters to make but 2,999,950 of them are horrible, so its just a stupid gimick in order to sell the game.
MALES
The stubble patterns are thoroughly dissapointing, the main coverage one has huge bald patches near the mouth for some reason, but whats more surprising is that someone looked back and thought "This looks good, i can't see anything thats obviously wrong about it in any way" The posture looks odd, like the men were supposed to be wearing full plate armour the entire time. The chest is oddly proportioned and bulky.
Oh and other thing, being an Australian i don't see many Black people but why have they been given a extravagent amount of colour choices while i can barely make my skin the pale white it is? I'm not some lurking emo or anything i have fair skin, and nor do i want a tan.

I have to agree, for such a detailed and supposedly options filled character creator, it's results are suprisingly limited.

Sounds to me like you want a scrawny manga babydoll girl. There's nothing "huge" about the characters' hips, they look quite normal actually. The only real cases of weirdness are the collarbones which are way too low, and the seriously wonky back of the Dalish rogue (female) which is straight as a board.
If female body mass should be adjustable, why not male too? Fair is fair.

I honestly think if it weren't for the constant back angles during conversation scenes, I wouldn't have really noticed my female character's seemingly gigantic rump. Perhaps this visual effect is worsened by starting mage robes, as they all have this sort of gathering of fabric right there that just draws your eye in.
I'm more or less driven insane by the lack of nose/eye sliders. I can tolerate static height and weight, but at least offer a decent amount of facial options. Especially if you are going to leave the option to use that character as an avatar for places like here.
I would pay money for more hair that is actually appealing. Really, I would.

I don't see much of a problem with the body proportions. I think they look acceptable and normal.
But I've not started a female mage yet, and I like curves. I know from changing my female party members outfits around, they look pretty good in general and like healthy human beings. I mean, the collarbones do seem a bit off, but that's all I really notice.

they all have nice round breasts, focus on them as opposed to the hands...

You may notice that the ladies have thick waists when viewed straight from the front or back, but are quite thin when viewed from the side. Now notice that a lot of really pretty actresses and models are kind of broad if you look straight from the front with no angling of the hips or anything. That said, rogue shoulders look terrible.
I would have liked a "skinny lady" option for Elves.

Women totally look like weird men with boobs. My problem is also with beards; my character on the left, Duncan, has two of them, stubble and then a full one. Is that a thing?

I think people just looked like this in medieval times in northern europe and skandinavia *g
But your right. They remember me of the static"stick in the ass" bodies in ""Two Worlds"

Okay, I'll buy the ugly hands. I'd like the term "robust" to describe the female bodies. I mean how long would the skinny butt model types last in a good fight? I like my women with curves anyway. At least it isn't like AOC with inflatable boobs! That said, it would be nice to be able to tweak the body type with thicker, thinner, taller or shorter just for variety.

When you make your character, there's the option for a beard and there's the option for stubble. You can use both.

Gorilla Hand is the only thing that bothers me, and that goes for male and female

Ya hands are very large. Nothing wrong with the female bodies. Still it is odd not being able to change body type at all, which is standard these days in most RPGs.

ive been saying this for some time now-
but the female body form is obviously off to text map the armor- they have insanely large shoulders in comparison to where they should be for a woman of that muscle structure.
if the woman form was naturally buffed (peopel would complain there too) then the edge of her muscles meeting the armor text mapped would be legit.
however aside from any aesthetic issues, "buffed mages" doesn't seem to be a look many people would want.
AH nold the enchanter isn't exactly everyones mindset.
however, i would at least suggest from 3 different body types for BOTH males and females:
1- fat
2- athletic
3- skinny
that way you get some choice, don't drive the devs crazy with mediums and can play as a fat noble son that is obviously a waste of space (till the storyline) or the emaciated mage type and make thier features look almost "skeletal" (i did this one but didn't want to start the mage story so i cut it off- was on the phone and wanted to actually hear the story), or the trim and well-muscled athletic dude/chick that is obviously meant for a warrrior classs.
to make it even easier i would say to ONLY limit body types for humans, so elves and dwarves get only one format (racially they are different) and humans- who as far as origins go get the short end of the stick witn only ONE exclusive origin story- at least give the better species the option to vary body shape like in reali life how vaired humans are.
it wont happen without modds and adding your own char textures but on the 360 i won't ever see that.

I see nothing of the issues you speak of... Try changing your resolution. And don't use windowed mode(as windowed mode will force you to use the same resolution as your desktop.)

In fairness all bodies in this look wierd, not just human females.
With that said if your playing a tank its ok as its hidden by massive amounts of plate, just disturbing if your playing any other class though.

Actually, nobody has said so and perhaps it is just me, but the main strange thing I find about the female character models (I've only seen Human and Elves not the dwarves) is their walking and running animations. While the male characters walk and run quite naturally (to my eye), the female characters appear to be quite stiff in comparison and look a bit awkward. Is it really just me? if not for this I might have already tried out a female character (well, I probably will anyway, but the walk and run animations annoy me a bit lol).
