Body posture is well off as well, a male elf leans backwards in a completely unnatural manner. Disappointed.

Sounds to me like you want a scrawny manga babydoll girl. There's nothing "huge" about the characters' hips, they look quite normal actually. The only real cases of weirdness are the collarbones which are way too low, and the seriously wonky back of the Dalish rogue (female) which is straight as a board.
If female body mass should be adjustable, why not male too? Fair is fair.
No offense, but I don't get why you would think in such way. I haven't seen much people complaining about the body proportions of Mass Effect, and Commander Shepard (male or female) didn't seem to have a "scrawny manga babydoll" body to me.
They look awkward. Not sure if it's intended to look like that as part of the lore (like the dirty teeth), but I still find it annoying.

Actually, nobody has said so and perhaps it is just me, but the main strange thing I find about the female character models (I've only seen Human and Elves not the dwarves) is their walking and running animations. While the male characters walk and run quite naturally (to my eye), the female characters appear to be quite stiff in comparison and look a bit awkward. Is it really just me? if not for this I might have already tried out a female character (well, I probably will anyway, but the walk and run animations annoy me a bit lol).
I totally agree! I cannot stand to watch that silly walk of my female elf! So whenever I have to go somewhere I let Alistair or Zephran lead, lol.
And YES PLEASE to what was said above. If not sliders then at least 3 different body types for the character creator should be available. What is the purpose of being able to change your neck-size when the boobs, waists and butts remain troll-sized? I dream of a gracious elf with long flowing hair and some catlike moves. Too much to ask?

Also I thought there was a nice variety of skin tones. The palest skin tone doesn't look the least bit tan to me. The female hairstyles didn’t bug me as much either. I thought a lot of them were decent for a medieval themed game. I doubt a person would be able to go into battle with flowing long locks getting in your way.
I mean its difficult enough for me to do regular tasks without my hair getting in the way, so the short hair makes sense to me.

I prefeer the female model here..The female model of Dark age simply look odd.. At least you can adjust the butt /boob/waist and muscular aspect and height with this ..
Even the *male* option are just simply limited . Even if i put a lot of effort my male will always look like a retard.
