First time I've asked the BSN a PC rig related question, how good are you guys with computers? Anyway, what I'm using is HD 6850 but for some strange reason it's like it's broken or at least partially damaged. I've run gpu-z, and I don't see any flashing red alarm bells telling me that the card is messed up. Currently I have my boot menu settings at "optimized" (whatever that is) except I have chosen to enable the motherbboards internal graphics, and though it should in theory be far inferior to my HD 6850, it's actually far from the reality. I can't even run google chrome without my motherboards internal graphics, so obviously any games from the past 4-5 years are out of the question. Tried my graphics card with the latest drivers, the beta drivers, and even with everything rolled back but none of the drivers seem to fix the problem.

Did you notice any artifacting before you started having the problem? ex) purple and green dots or lines showing up on the screen while gaming/using google chrome? Usually you can tell when a gpu is about to go out a couple days or so before it does. Sudden death isn't usually how they go out from my experience unless it got wet or melted somehow.
