Lol! You're right! The title of the thread was originally 'Your DLC idea in 5 lines or less", but then I quickly changed the "5" to a 1" and it looked like "Your DLC idea in 1 lines or less", then I sloppily added a "one" before the "1" and now it looks weird. Kudos on pointing it out

DLC Plot
Ever since the destruction of the Batarian relay and the deaths of at least 300,000 Batarians, the entire species knows Commander Shepard’s name for destroying the relay. Only now are the Batarians facing their extinction due to the reapers harvesting them and changing them into the front-line reaper soldier’s known as cannibals. However since the fall Khar'shan (the Batarian homeworld) the refuges who escaped or were in colonies in Reaper controled space, would turn to the Citadel for refuge. Unfortunatly many Batarians have turned away from the Citadel because it was Citadel council who turned their back on their race. What was left of the Batarian Government, decided as a last action was to lead a platoon of troops along with refuges into the terminus system, where they will seek assistance from the large batarian pirate groups to hide in a system which the Reapers are unlikely to them (Possible the Ismar Frontier).
Recently Balak has received a distress signal from the remaining refuges and what’s left of the Batarians ground forces informing him this information and that the Reapers are searching for them. Balak knows that using his fleets will draw the Reapers to them, therefore he calls on Shepard to find the colony and protect it, untill Alliance reinforcements will arrive. In the end he will make choices that will affect the fate of the colony. It will also affect some war assets and will make new ones.
Also Balak does become a temporary squad member during the DLC because he does not trust shepard with the lives of the Batarian colonists. He will accompany him throughout the search.

A series of shortstories with Squadmates in the style of ME2-loyaltymissions. Perhaps they could be done without Shepard, with player having control of the team-mate in question. And the other team-members could be other people from that squadmates life (like Feron). Though if Shepard is not the protagonist in these shortstories, there should be no choices in dialogue.

#1: A crossover with ME: Infiltrator to assist Randall in taking down the Director, with his permanent addition as a squadmate occurring if Infiltrator was completed; Salvo and Storm would become available as bonus powers.
#2: A generic "galaxy-livening-up" expansion to add more star clusters to the Galaxy Map and more previous-character cameos to the Normandy and/or Citadel, such as Helena Blake, Rupert Gardner, Fist, etc.
#3: Visit the raloi home planet of Turvess and convince them that holing up won't solve anything.
#4: (Actual idea that I've personally thought of and refined) Word has come up of a scientist who has managed to reverse engineer the Reapers' big red lasers, and Shepard is sent to find and recruit this person; s/he gets to the site and only finds what looks to be a normal aggressive vorcha guarding it, but when s/he makes a move to take the laser/data back to the Alliance, he whips out an omniblade and threatens his/her life for taking his hard work away and demands compensation. Taking all Renegade responses/interrupts shows him that now REALLY isn't the time for some petty bargaining, and he's convinced to sign up as a squadmate in addition to contributing his weapon to the war effort.
