 I rarely ragequit* but when I do it's typically the vengeful slow bleedout method .   The situation is usually when the entire teams sucks, keeps dying all over the place, won't use equipment or using equipment like a ******, and then they refuse to revive anyone and I give up even though I might have more med gels or am capable of finishing each wave on my own. 


(*I've ragequit probably 10 times since demo and I have around 600 hrs played)

Once or twice if it's wave four and everyone has been dying none stop and I've got a bad loadout.

I've also intentionally died a few times to spectate someone I thought was cheating. Avengers should not kill Banshees in two seconds.

Simple evaluation: Risk, cost, reward. If I feel I have to use way too much consumables to complete, I won't. If I fall and is not revived as expected (unless I'm in a stupid place or someone did try and failed), I won't medigel. If no one else contributes to victory, I won't. I simply can't carry a team of four through 10 waves alone. I won't fall on purpose unless team members are annoying/a**holes.

However, if I get the feeling most are doing their best, and expend resources to achieve victory, even if they're not doing a great job of it, there's a good chance of victory and I'll do what I can to achieve it though resource spending is a bit high. Decency.

i never do
i play gold and always use some nice equipments, i want my credit and i want the win and am not affraid to use all 6 gels if necessary
couldn't careless if they deserved or didn't deserve it

and btw on gold level there's no such a thing as it's a waste of consumables, the pay allows you to get at least twice the amount you used

I don't purposely bleed out. But when I bleed out, half the time I'm not really paying attention, or somebody insta-stomps me.

Before then, if I can tell they're not even trying, I'm out. Don't care.

only rarely. If i medigel and then get killed again v quickly, and medigel and again get killed (for example, surrounded by a turret and a phantom) then i'll give up and bleed out. Otherwise, i'll always do my best. Had to use a LOT of medigel yesterday on a silver match, carrying three players (all below n7 100, my own fault i guess for going in, i'm no good at carrying but at least i extracted as lone survivor).

Wrong. I'm not even going to consider debating cost/use analysis on this. If a person enters a match and literally runs into the Boss to give him a hug several times and rage gels within the first two waves- isn't that a waste? 

Having equipment and using equipment mean nothing if you aren't using it intelligently. That is the difference between getting full extraction with three players are mostly dead weight or wiping. You DO have to make good decisions regarding when to use a med gel or a rocket and to say you do not is just simply wrong IMO. 

It can help your match succeed number one, also make it run a lot smoother and not be a major cluster****.

Depends. If I see everyone is at least trying then I will stay.

However if I see people don't use any gel ... ok they don't do anything then I will kill everything but 1 mob, whatever it happens to be. Then I run from it for a few. Then I shoot it for a few. Then I run. Then i shoot at it and miss. Then dance around it. Then I let it kill me. Then I mash A as long as possible. Then gel. Then start over. Till I get bored then I die.

I am not a babysitter. The only people I go out of my way for are my friends, or players that are trying their best, no one else.

This made me laugh so much . The level of revenge greifing- amazing. So isn't this considered actual griefing though?!

you're not considering debating the cost/consumable use analysis cause there's nothing to debate
gold is 85k credits, that's 2 JEPs and leftover which is more consumable that you can carry

i have almost no idea what you're trying to say with your second part but let me remind you that
bleeding out on purpose obviously meant bleeding out when it's better to gel which is what i never do

+ i am using equipments ie ammo/amps.. which are wasted if i give up on purpose, because i judged my team mate didn't deserve my efforts

I rarely just bleed out and I consider at this point a game that fails extraction on Gold difficulty to be laughable. (for myself) So I very occastionally will just opt out of the frustration. 

I think I misunderstood your comment originally then. I am trying to say that if extraction is your goal then yes equipment can be wasted. I'm not talking about cost and gaining 2 JEP's. You won't be able to purchase the 2 JEP's if you don't even finish the match yes? 

Not all players are badass- that's a given- but at least use your equipment strategically. That's something anyone has the potential to do! It makes a huge difference.

Id prefer to bleed out when the wave is nearly completed and the rest is up and about (and going to make it). Saves a medigel for when the time comes when you really might need it (extraction, for example). Sometimes the idea backfired and the team couldnt make it. Cant say if that was caused by my untimely demise or not

Though ive had a few instances where i managed to snatch victory out from the jaws of defeat by reviving myself anyway and pressing on despite other players being dead, but i digress.

Most of the time, especially if I put on my good consumables, I'll try to carry the team. But sometimes you just know it's a lost cause. Sometimes I might not be playing on a strong character that can clutch the wave. So in those cases maybe I will just bleed out and quit the lobby

This weekend I ran into some bad PUGs while working on my biotic god challenge with my Cerebus adept. I just let myself bleed out once or twice and still got to keep my consumables. It was weird. I mustve went through like 3-4 bad PUGs that were looking to get carried. I recall being able to keep my consumables back-to-back.

I don't understand why anyone would want to play the game but just bleed out and get carried. What is the point? No fun in it at all. This is a game so you're supposed to have fun, otherwise do something else.

Need to rant - just bled out on purpose. Dagger/Collectors/Gold. Team refused to use ANY consumables at all - rockets, medigels, whatever. Made me clutch waves 5 and 6. We get in a bad spot on wave 8, people go down and nobody used gel. I was the last one standing, got downed by a Scion and just said screw these guys - not wasting my consumables on teammates that won't use them to help the team.
