Wikipedia says it literally means "burning ones", with "Seraph" being singular.
Given the plural nature of geth programs, Seraphim seems like a good name for the Geth Trooper. =)

I like this name. Only hub units like the Prime and Legion have more than one program housed within, however.

In my ME MP world there is an elite unit between N7 Spec Ops and my characters are part of this elite. And the commander of this unit gives them codenames...These codenames are referencing to sci-fi shows and comics. My N7 soldier's codename is Tony Stark, my N7 Shadow is Black Widow.

My geth engineer called K.I.T.T.

The snake on the stick made me think of "Caduceus" as a name, a symbol used in medicine. But that was Hermes in Ancient Greek religion, still it works for turret shield regeneration doesn't it? =)

Maybe "Caduceus"?

Moses would stick with the OP's original biblical theme. I'm unclear about how the Old Testament story came in with the development of the Caduceus (or more accurately the Rod of Asclepius, two different Greek things). But Caduceus would also be a good idea.

Caduceus is related to Hermes, and is not technically tied to medicine (though it is often confused). The Rod of Aclepius is the "true" medical symbol. There is probably some overlap between the Hebrew story of Moses and the Greek god Asclepius.

Checking Wikipedia, probably both derived from an ancient (and current in the Third World) treatment for a certain parasite.
