 Umm, this may be a really dumb question, but I just downloaded Omega, but I can't figure how to get it started. What do I need to do to actually play it?

Check your personal terminal on the Normandy, there should be a message from Aria that gives you the mission once read.

I too have had this issue. I can not figure out how to get it started. I just re-downloaded it and still have no message within my private terminal.

you have to beat Arias original mission first (where she has to unite the Bloodpack, eclipse, and blue suns)

I have completed that part. I have even left the citadel and returned. When I visit her, I still get a canned response.

Not even. You just have to talk to her. Make sure you talk to her about Omega and then return to the Normandy. Maybe try to do a mission first and then check your terminal for a message. When you return to the Citadel after getting Aria's message, there should be an extra location to go to.

Finally got it. I had to download it again from the Xbox live main menu, prior to loading the game. Now I got the notice.
