Is there any actual concrete evidence yet that Dragon Age III is being planned for next gen consoles?

No.

All evidence is thus far either hearsay or circumstantial.

Some consider the late 2013 release date and lack of console information an indication of the possibility, but nothing concrete.

There is not much evidence against it either, so this being the internet and all, means that it must be true.

I am actually inclined to believe there is a hefty probability to using current-gen. Bioware typically tries to keep system requirements similar to that of previous within a series, and if I remember right it would be required for save game imports.

As the others have said though, nothing concrete.

Who cares if its next gen? Yeah that means you have to buy the next gen console, but most will be anyways. Plus if you're on the PC you're golden anyways...who cares? So long as Bioware delivers a great Dragon Age game, great!

Yeah I don't really care if it's next gen or not. I was just curious if this rumour was correct. If it does end up being next gen though, I'm certainly glad that I defected to the PC gaming master race late last year. Saves me buying another console.

Sorry, this has been posted ad nauseum this week, and i'll state again, just wait for any official BioWare posts on the subject, currently all the technical information on the game is in Mark's blog post. These threads usually create a ton of panic based off of rumor that is unfounded. So, locked.
