Is your experience similar?
I played most of Saturday and Sunday (PC) about 10 hours a day. Mostly bronze/silver but a few gold. Got operation detonator done with a Fury - easy mode. Saw a lot of good teams, a few superstars, some noobs (which I encouraged), and a few lamers. I mostly played non-vanguard characters this time. Lots of Huntress (with collector sniper rifle), and Fury. My bug experience (by memory) is as follows:
Connectivity:
- disconnects from the ea server: 3 (that's really good compared to the past)
- disconnects from host within game: about 9
- forever loading launch screens (you eventually get kicked): 4
Out of sync:
- teleporting (non vanguard)
-- intermittent that can be temporarily fixed by taking cover, or possibly heavy melee, or just goes away: 6
-- consistent unfixable teleporting: 2
- non teleporting (sometimes these would fix themselves mid mission, also non vanguard)
-- you cannot take cover, or climb ladders but don't seem to visibly teleport: 3
-- cannot revive or do upload objectives: 3
- cannot biotic charge specific enemy (I only played Vanguard a couple times): 1
A.I. problems:
- lost enemies: 3 (generally find them stuck above or below spawn points)
- stuck escort: 1 (excort ball gets stuck in structure)
Lag
- too bad to play: 2 (time to bail)
- difficult to play but got through it: 4 (but 2 of these became lost host connections fairly quickly so maybe the host PC was choking, and the next host was good)
pub launch bonuses received:
join random pug mission with husk on face: 1
join random pug mission with head lice cloud: 1
join random pug mission with everyone dead: 1
join random pug mission in wave 10 or 11: 2
Invisible Enemies:
- I was in a silver Collectors Glacier this weekend where it seemed there was an invisible scion that kept pounding us out of nowhere. It even hit me just after the 'all enemies cleared' for the wave announcement when there should be no enemies. I wasted a few extra gels and avoided the rooms where it last hit me. I've seen an invisible turret before but this was a new one for me. The only other thing it might be is the hazzard flying electrical razor ball damage might have been mislocated. Some Krogan was hiding the whole time, parked against the wall. I don't think he killed anything or even fired a weapon the whole time although he did make the extraction. Not sure if the bug was why or if he was watching reruns of love boat and couldn't be bothered. I don't think he was a real Krogan though. Probably a Cerberus spy in disguise.
