So I'm thinking of moving on up to Silver after my third succesful Bronze solo, so I'm asking you Silver players on the Xbox how the PUGs are. I almost never host a game, nor do I have enough friends on playing ME3 at the same time to just team up with them.
What can I expect? How would they look at my two most played characters?
Krogan Sentinel (6/0/6/6/6) Full Defense Tech Armor, Full Defense Rage, Weapn Damage Passive, Lift Grenades
Volus Engineer (6/6/6/5/3) Large Area Debuff Recon, Large Area Debuff Prox, High Shield Restore Shield Fart
Thanks in advanced.

Silver PUGs are a **** lot better than gold PUGs, that's for sure. I don't think you'll have any problems.

Running level 20 characters in Silver will be completely fine, if you can solo Bronze you'll be more than ready for Silver.
The main difference is how much damage you will be taking, so it'll be handy to learn when to stick near some cover etc. With this in mind I'd run the KroSen for your first matches as he is very forgiving in terms of health / shields and tank ability.
Try not to pick up bad habits from lone wolf score horders, stick with your team mates and learn to synergise powers with each other.

Yeah if you can solo Bronze fine, you should be good with silver. PUGs are decent on Silver too, I'd take them over Gold PUGs any day.

If theyre at level 20 and you can solo bronze youll be fine. Those are 2 great kits too-- but FYI you cant get away with half the melee crap you couldget away with on bronze. Gold even less so and plat...well...thats just silly.

If you need someone to play with I'm on most mornings. I have to say that the pugs on xbox are not that bad. I usually get all the objectives 9/10 and everyone extracts 8/10. I have not played silver in a while but if you can solo bronze, gold should not be to far of a jump for you. My gamertag is in my signature. Send me a message if you want to team up.

My experiences with silver pugs have been favorable. and I'd be fine playing with characters of any kit and/or build/load-out. However everyone else says pugs suck. Play the way you want to and don't mind the others. Just do the objectives at least.

like most games it's pretty hit or miss. You'll probably be fine. Sometimes you'll have to carry a bit, other times you'll have to try to keep up. It depends on if you get transitioning bronze players or veterans.
If you can solo bronze, chances are you'll be more than fine. Enjoy silver!

Since the last DLC i run silver pugs to level characters and work on kits I do not run in gold, I have found them excellent, some more work than others but I can't remember the last time we did not receive extraction
Edit: If you want I would be happy to run a few games with you, GT at left

In contrast to Gold PUGs where alot of people who shouldn't be there try for a free ride. Silver has the good fortune of higher skill players just looking for a relaxing game.

Bronze > Silver is a lot easier than Silver > Gold, imo. If you can solo bronze, you can definitely pug silver without too much trouble.

As a regular pug silver player I can say that the pugs are good, in fact bad pugs are rare; at times I can use an experimental build and it still turns out fine

I'm a regular Silver PUG player. My games go well 9/10 times and I am not that good. I play a Vorcha Soldier with Hurricane IV because with the flamer, the fact that I can't hit what I'm aiming at with a gun doesn't hurt me so much.
I have to disagree with several posters. You don't need to be able to solo Bronze in order to play Silver PUGs successfully. I was unable to solo Bronze at all for the longest time but I could do Silver PUGs easily - and doing well too.
I say go for it - there's no way to improve without pushing your skills.

Sure but they can be just annoying as Bronze when you see someone running a Ghost with a Harrier like I had last night. Or Fury's, on Silver. I mean I get that some people are learning new characters but still.

You'll be fine as long as you don't have any problems soloing one or two rounds half of the time. Go up to Gold and you will most likely be soloing half of the rounds per game.
Or at least that is my experience. Oh and if you are topping the scoreboard, be prepared if you get sync-killed that the rest of the team will more than likely go down and refuse to gel themselves.
