I have returned. Saber and N7 Valkyrie buffs CONFIRMED IN THREAD. Also, Acolyte and Stim Pack nerfs CONFIRMED IN THREAD.

Since when did the saber need a buff?

Since the Paladin already does what the Saber does, only it's lighter.


Not to mention that the Paladin has access to the heavy barrel, which actually makes the Paladin deal more damage per shot.

Stim packs now only add 3500 shields instead of 4000....

Acolyte nerfs? Who would have guessed.

All in all shaping up to be a good balance changes day, I can't wait for all the threads tomorrow saying that the TGI is useless after the stim pack balance.

The Acolyte wasn't on anyone's radar until the charge mechanic was removed, boo. I actually liked it more then.

Hope they don't pillage stim pack too much for the havok's sake. Honestly 2k shields instead of 4k fully spec'd would be more balanced than the current "I win button" it is now.

Acolyte is just plain overpowered, a slower RoF or significant damage nerf is in order.

Because the Saber is currently the worst UR AR, stats wise.

Stim pack is probably too powerful but the Havoc soldier needs it to make Havoc strike work. Havoc Strike really needs to be buffed at the same time.

I knew they would nerf stim packs. Now the Havoc will suffer while the ghost will keep on trucking. Never should have had stim packs to begin with. Terrible solution imo, it's hunter mode nerf all over again.

Also, ok ok, I suppose the saber is outclassed stat wise by other guns. I just personally find it easier to use and more effective than other UR ARs and the paladin. So I'm just happy to see it get even better.

Forget my last post.

Why don't you just re-instigate the charge up mechanic for it?

Removing the charge up did nothing to prevent the missile glitch, and allowed the acolyte to become the staple pistol everyone uses for every build on every kit and every class.

I think if you added the charge up again, people would think twice before taking it on every character like has rapidly become the norm since you removed its charge up period.

I agree with this. Nerfing an already crappy kit is an unfortunate side-effect to this nerf. To make Havoc Strike worth something, it needs to provide way more invinsibility frames, or a TON more damage. And I don't mean a 10% damage buff, I mean way more than that because it currently does barely any more than Biotic Charge, which will refill your barrier. No reason to use the Havoc whatsoever.

I can live with 3500 shields if that's what is gonna be the max for the shields. I'm very curious on what the acolyte nerf is gonna be.

Havoc Strike is awful and ignored on a lot of builds. This should be interesting.

I am disappointed that the acolyte gets a nerf right after you open it up to the masses by removing the charge. Just reapply the charge and let us have our fun.

Well it's more fitting with lore.   Something made by Asari should look pretty but be mostly useless, just like the Asari.
