Well, Nyreen turned out great, probably exactly how the fans wanted her.Image IPB So — if Bioware's smart, we'll see some more Turian females. They would definitely bring some good attention to the servers, better than last DLC packs. And hey, any addition to the MP gets fans drawn back.

Wouldn't even be that hard to do really, I guess the toughest part is recording all her dialogue but even then I think they'd be TRIPPING over the amount of capable female fans who could voice a female Turian = free work and great publicity for fan inclusion.
(Why am I not working PR for the games industry again...? Damn motive to become a concept artist...)

But yes, multiplayer is in some dire need of DLC, considering how much of a flop Retaliation was (Introducing the worst enemy faction in the game while ruining 2 others along with weak/boring weapons, masses of recycled kits with old models and Volus.) they really need to up their game with this pack... especially as this one is considered to be the last of ME3's lifespan.

Well, no matter what the media says... I haven't had nearly enough Mass Effect yet. PLEASE, GOD, don't let it stop.

Got a point there with Retaliation. Plus that your pre-Retaliation progress didn't carry over except in your promotions. What the hell, right? But I gotta say, appreciated some of the characters they gave us. I mean, the Havocs were pretty useful. But the Rolus Polus Volus? Fighting? Much better at rolling.

They should add this enemy as a reaper.
Image IPB
And this enemy for Cerberus.

Adjutants:
Pretty boring, played through Omega and didn't quite realise what they actually did to make them a dynamic enemy besides being a large squelchy target.
So I did not involve them.

Rampart Mech:
Cerberus already have the (immensely annoying) Dragoons. They do NOT need another unit that can flush players out of cover or ANOTHER close-quarters unit.

I thought the unit additions in Retaliation were very rushed, despirate and pointless and they ended up making the game far more annoying to play rather than fun.
I wish there was a function to turn them off to be honest.

Is there an uninstall function for Retaliation? Personally, I like it, but it seems like with all the backlash it should have an off button too. For the Anti-Retaliationists.

And — if anything, the Adjutants would be part of the Cerberus faction. They are Cerberus constructs, even though they have the CQB qualities of the Reapers.
I agree with Chameleon on this one — if they did in fact add them to the Cerberus faction, Cerberus would become sort of like the Collectors — some CQB units (Adjutants and Dragoons), and the rest of the troopers would provide tactical support behind them. It'd drive people away from the Cerberus faction.
If they added the Adjutants to the Reapers (slightly breaking lore), they'd blend into the crowd of other CQB units. They'd be like stronger and more annoying husks, no real distinctive qualities that would make them stand out. It'd be pointless.

The Rampart Mechs are just super-LOKIs. With Omniblades. And with hard armor to crack. And with impenetrable energy shields they can pull up. To add them would be a bit of a mistake. Not a very well liked enemy.
To keep with lore, they'd go with Cerberus, like all the Omega enemies, which would be just a copy-paste of the Centurions, except with armor instead of shields. Thus, it'd require players to take both shield-breakers and armor-piercers into the battles. It'd be tactically inefficient for players to choose characters that specialized in only shields, only armor, or only health, so it'd become a big mess as players had to choose weird character combos. The Dragoon was a bit of a thorn in the side in this regard, adding in an armor-based character, and the Ramparts would only make it worse.

Don't want to sound cold here, Sylux, but you gotta consider it'd be a bit of a weird addition.

BioWare now won't use any of it.

If that's the case with all the Concept threads that have popped up BW can't make ANY more DLC as pretty much every idea has been covered.

P.S: I'm pretty sure people have posted about Male Quarians and Vorcha before Rebellion dropped.

Well, let us hope you're correct in your optimism. However, I have read before and recently recieved a post from Bryan myself saying they can't use fan ideas for legal reasons.

Shame considering I have seem some excellent ideas on here (yours included). Some ideas I would even consider better thatn most of the stuff already in game.

You can check out this thread if you want to see what Bryan has said on the matter.

I love the chain gun idea. I've always wanted to nail cerberus back with my own turret. I think the chain gun would have to have a health bar to it. Is there a way you could rework it to have the shield barriers without the generator?

or

having him with the chain gun but have it with the radius thing like the supply pylon but have it increase rate of fire but has a shield health bar to it but is much more rugged then geth/quarian turret. Shield wall barrir thing that is like a mobile wall for up to two people to take cover from behindand if others connect to your wall it becomes stronger. last thing would be maybe shield drain.

Most of that stuff is already in the game. I want NEW stuff :( Hardly DLC if it's already on the game. Is it? No no no.

It's also A LOT more work, meaning that it will not be free meaning it will split up the community from people who do and do not want to pay for it.
Also, just the models and guns are in the game and are pre made, having them as kits and customisable colours hasn't been done and is new.

Well, I still think 3 models for 6 kits is a bit lame, but I at least like the general concept behind most of the kits. I don't see any need for a Turian Vanguard when we've got the Havoc Soldier, but the rest of the kits look decent enough. Don't care enough about maps and weapons to scrutinize them.

Well, Rebellion has 6 kits and 3 models and that was perfectly fine.
Also, the difference between the Turian Talon and the Havok are pretty big Havok = Tech, Talon = Biotics.
Two very different weapon sets, plus the Talon would not have jetpacks and instead would have biotic dash.
Very, very different character kits.

As I said earlier, Rebellion was probably the lamest of the 4 DLCs to release so far. It was fine, sure. Now Earth...that DLC had everybody pumped. I got messages from people I didn't even know on PSN telling me about it; what their favorite character would be, how they'd spec them out, etc. I'm just saying, appearance does matter. BW has progressively taken longer and longer to release DLCs, meaning they've had more time to work on each. A few new character models isn't too much to ask for, especially given that this concept isn't introducing anything gamechanging (for ex: Rebellion introduced gear, Earth introduced Platinum, Retaliation introduced Collectors/Volus/Challenges). I imagine it'd be easier to create those than implement new and unique powers, especially since all they'd need to do is alter the SP models. I think I mentioned most of this before...

Anyway, Havoc is a Vanguard in all but name. He's got Havoc strike to close the distance (sans the shield restore) and he's got Stim Packs to restore shields (and then some). It just seems like we've already got a Turian Vanguard (tech nonetheless), and I don't think we need another. But hey, that's my opinion. The one mildly negative one among nine pages worth of praise. I think that says something.

Thanks bud, too bad this game is dead in the water now with no more DLC and updates.
Understandable though as the next Mass Effect game is currently being worked on.

yeah but still the ideas are fantastic, why bioware doesnt act on it despite the numbers that would get it is stupid
