Or better yet Leliana dragging Morrigan off to shop in the Denerim market with Morrigan screaming for you to save her.SpunkyMonkey wrote...
For me banter ought to be fleshed out a bit more too, so that you can hear/see similar when in camp, or at similar "down points" too.
The Camp scenes with Dog are a good example of this, and it'd be nice to see things like a drink competition between Sten & Ogrhim, or Morigan having to borrow some knickers from Leliana etc.
Why am I even getting my hopes up though? *prepares to mash button and select "paragon" option at begining of game*

I spent hours walking across that bridge to the proving grounds in Orzammar mixing up my party and waiting to see what would happen. Wynne was surprisingly funny.Ihatebadgames wrote...
In DA:O I changed people and ran from hotspot to hotspot just to hear everything. They need lots more of this for background and news about what's really going on in your party, and what they really think of you.Banter is fun.
And the banter in DA2 was the best way to find out what your companions had been up to during the 3 year breaks. Who knew Aveline's husband and Fenris were poker buddies? It made the characters seem like they had a life outside of Hawke. Wish there had been even more of it. I'm sure the DA3 banter won't disappoint.

In ME3 you are listening to the conversation of strangers. In the idea Gaider proposed you would participate in the conversation of your party members, the ones usually five steps away from you.

IMO, the DA:O method was far, far superior where you could actually talk to them anywhere (other than during combat) and anytime.

Party banter has been top notch in both Dragon Age games. Here's hoping the trend continues.
I second this emotion, lol.
