Hi everyone!

Just watched the video again and read the preview text. It says five new companions. With one returning companion (whom people speculate could be Oghren).

So if you had the choice to pick the races and classes of the five new companions - what would you do?

Note that the first game has your character plus a choice of Human warrior (male), Human Rogue (female), 2 Human Mages (both female), Elf Rogue (male), Dwarf Warrior (male), Qunari Warrior (male), Dog and Golem.

I'd like to see:

1. Human Mage (female)...redhead
2. Qunari Warrior (female)...blonde 
3. Elf Rogue (female)...brunette
4. Human Mage (male)...brown hair
5. Human Warrior (male)...black hair

6. Dwarf Warrior (male)...red hair and beard (ie. Oghren)

7. (For the DLC after Awakening) Dragon (female)

Awakening is set to play several months after DAO, so you can scrap everything from the epilogue that speaks about things that are more than months into the future

We need a male mage, archer based male rogue, female warrior dual wield, and I'm fresh out of ideas. As far as character returning, I'd like Sten. He has crushing stats in my current game. Plus Qunari haven't been touched on that much.

Checked the Epilogue again and for me it states: "Someone of Morrigan's description was seen traveling alone months later, heading west through the Forstback Mountains... and she may even have been with child"

Its again something the writers can do with what they wish (It may or may not have been Morrigan that people saw), the "with child" in this context means someone is pregnant (they also mention she was traveling alone). They also state she may have been pregnant so people are unsure... Those Bioware story writers are quite smart they provide you with info that they can bend into any shape later on hehe.

I'd like to see a more or less ''evil'' companion, Morrigan was a step in the right direction, although she was more selfish than evil.

What about a true evil clishee bloodmage/arcane warrior /reaver combination? Maybe a possessed character controlled by a fade demon? That would be fun.



I am done with righteous innocent ''sacrifice for the gerater good'' companions since Baldurs Gate II. Dragon Age is a great improvement, but you can always ask for more.

I hope all five characters are complex and individual enough that they can't be easily summed up as "good guys" or "bad guys"



Please no irritating paladins or equally irritating "Ooo, look how DARK I am" villain types.

Will Fiona and/or Utha from Mr.Gaider's book The Calling be in awakeings or be featured in any future dlc thank you if either answer love you work by the way. I finished The Calling and am now really looking forward to awakeing if there is no delays anyway.

What I would love to have for new NPCs



1. Male Human Warrior, Ostagar survivor perhaps? might have been a teenager during war for Ferelden independence. old time NCO in the king's army around 40-50 years old, career soldier. Shaved head, slight limp, boken crooked noze some facial scars and a deformed ear (from a blow absorbed by a helmet)

2. Female Dwarf Rogue, former noble hunter, who succeeded only to see her new house fall during the dwarf civil war (Bhelen uprising..). Should have kids, some killed by the rival houses, one surviving living on the surface. Still attractive, a true survivor type.

3. Human Male mage (entropy, primal) survivor of the tower, this character can have some serious mental problems (paranoia, depression etc caused by his strugle vs blood magic domination)

4. Elf female rogue, circus acrobat and a dancer, partime hooker. Lost her job during fighting in the Alienage



Oh and I want a Mabarri pup that you can raise and by the end of the game he grows up and you can use him as an NPC

Excellent question. I would in interested in the answer to that as well. What class would Utha be given her unarmed fighting skills and use of the 'dwarven club' which was like a nunchuka.

I would ask developers some bard' songs, like Leliana's song in camp. Amazing.

well i would exspect alot more dialogue and drama like kinda what they did between morigan and liliana. hopefully more sense of humor alister cracked me up sometimes.



and yes i would like to see alot of hidden emotions and cat fights breaking loose in camp. i was disappointed when morigan didnt turn liliana into a toad when i was cheating on them.

I would prefer to see a more diverse class specification of your party members. The fact that a good majority of your party members in DA:O were Warriors with only 2 Rogues and 2 Mages was quite annoying.

LOL how true was that! Only thing is, if you're going to have an evil party you need that approach to provide significant benefits to offset alienating so many people.

OK....this probably is lost in the 100+ pages of things.



It's cheesy, but I kinda wish there was a way to get my Ultimate Sacrifice character back as an 'origin' for Awakenings or a future game. Reconstructed out of the fade, possessing the body of another dying Gray Warden....whatever. I /love/ that ending...I just think it would be neat to go around and no one really know who the warden is (except me). I suppose I can always imagine with the Orlasien, but it's not quite the same.

I'm not sure if this has been addressed before, but does anyone know what's going to happen with the storage chest in Awakenings? Are we going to be able to take it and it's contents, or is it just kind of going to *poof*?

im sure they'll make it to where you can travel back to the main land. That would be my guess they said all dlc will be accesable from a load, so i would imagine you can travel back, and forth, or possibly relocate it in the new dlc?

IIRC, you will have to empty the storage chest before importing a save if you want everything in it. Any save can be loaded, but saves from before the ending will affect the gameplay in otherways, possibly a "canon" ending since there isn't one to carry over.

I'm pretty sure no one is going to hear anything new on awakeing until the hoopla over ME2 is done. which I am looking forward to.
