It begins with a weird beast/man. I think that is some kind of new demon because you dee him diferend as in the other sections of the trailer. Meaning if your old character died you will wake up in the fade and see him. Next thing: I think that same demon is possesing one of the darkspawn you see. Maybe the darkspawn and demons work together?? who knows I think this is it.

Ok, now that I've managed to calm myself I do have a few questions.
1. Will Morrigan be involved in the expansion at all or is she out of the picture for now?
2. I'm assuming, according to what I read in the articles, if you sacraficed yourself at the end of the game you'll be making a new grey warden - Is this new character a continuation of your old character or somebody brand new?
3. Enchantment?
W8 will anyone in Orgins be involved in the EP? Or do we get new party members? WHAT ABOUT SHALE!?

That said, I Wish (wishwishwishwish) it were Leliana or Zevran, but like you say, it probably won't be one of the romance choices.

It will be Shale ... everyone liked her, for the most part, but she wasn't really a romance option.

but not everyone will have shale, unless they include the dao dlc for her within the expansion, then some people will miss out from before...

I think they'll be holding Morrigan back for Dragon Age 2. No reason except for intuition. It's strange that Bioware went with an expansion pack for DA and Mass Effect went for a full blown sequel.
thats the difference between 3 years and 4 months

Very true. I guess what I was wondering about is why Bioware went with a different route in DA? What prompted them to think an Expansion Pack would be a better continuation instead of waiting couple years and putting out a full blown full priced sequel a la Mass Effect? Of course, Baldur's Gate had the expansion Tales of the Sword Coast and then Baldur's Gate 2 came out. Who knows? I'm glad it's coming some significant content is coming out so soon but I get the feeling that the significant story threads from DA will be put on hold in Awakening re Morrigan and her baby.

Though, you know, I REALLY wish they'd let us know how many hours of gameplay the expansion is going to add, because at 40 bucks you're practically paying for the price of the game again and if I'm not getting at least 20 more hours of gameplay for that I can't see how it would be worth the price.
i found its getting cheaper and cheaper 1st time i looked it was £40.00 then it was £30.00 and now £25.00 and I bought the original for £40.00 so i woudnt worry about the price and i think they estimated the expansion at 15 hours but thats nothing to go by as I think they estimated return to ostegar to be 1 hour and i completed it in 20mins normal difficulty and listend to the convo

I recall them mentioning at one point that it was only going to be about 20 minutes, but that you might be able to get more out of it depending ... I imagine that is, depending on if you play it multiple times with different cast members in tow. I intend to play again with Logain and Wyn, so I'll get a total of about 45 minutes or so for my 5 dollar investment ... but I was really jonesing for DA.
So long as they don't hold to that 5 bucks = less than 1 hour of gameplay model for this larger expansion.
