Soldier's Peak is a separate DLC and although it's supposed to be a strategic location and it's actually quite close to Amaranthine, it's not all that accessible.

Most of my questions were answered on page 6 and I actually got the answers I wanted. There's only one more thing I'd like to know and since I think it's the only plot point that hasn't been blatantly spoiled yet, I'll try to be vague about it.

Will Awakening expand on the male-only romance option that opens up near the end of the game and that's only available for one specific origin? Cause I really, REALLY want more of that.

I'm sure it will be available at all the usual places. Just give it time... it was only announced a few hours ago

Yeah but you'd think the EA store would have it as well....seeing as they're the company publishing it and all.

Does this mean that we will be able to start a new game as a Grey Warden and be able to play the original DA plus continue with what will be included in the expansion pack?

Nope.  That was one of the points clarified round about page six, I think.

The new origin will not be playable with DA:O only the expansion.



I'd imagine it would be a pain in the ass to cram the new origin in to the original game.

Why this doesn't mean anything to me? You can't be talking about You-Know-Who-That-May-Carry-You-Know-What, so... only available for one specific origin? Male-only? I'm at a loss

Its funny - this thread is full of praise for Bioware while the RTO threads preach death to all Bioware employees! I for one believe that this expansion will be delayed repeatedly with no (or little explanation)
