15 hours of gameplay? for the same Price i paid for the full game?
I really hope the gameplay time is a rumour
Most games out there you can get through in 10-15 hours. Dragon Age is a bargain considering the amount of content in it. Guess if you set the bar too high, expectations become unrealistic. I look forward to the expansion

I wonder if this release date will steal some of Final Fantasy XIII's thunder?
Although both RPGs, I've noticed they have very different audiences. I could be wrong, this is based on personal observation. Don't think it will make much of a difference either way

I'd like to know that as well. I really hope that it's worldwide, I'd hate to shut myself completely off from the internet for a week or two in fear of people spoiling Awakening.Mark Doney wrote...
Is the release date just for the States or is it worldwide? Good news though! My time will be split though as probably be playing Mass Effect 2 as well lol

Why is the trailer down? ;-( Everyone else seems to have seen the trailer except me. This is clearly a case of Schnozberry abuse.

Right hand not knowing what the left is doing, I think. Someone has promised the trailer will be officially posted soon.

January 5, 2010 - Today, BioWare and Electronic Arts put rumors to rest and announced Dragon Age: Origins – Awakening, the first official expansion pack which is slated to be released on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 on March 16, 2010. The expansion will require Dragon Age: Origins and will cost $39.99.
Set after the events of Dragon Age: Origins in the land of Amaranthine, players will take on the role of a Grey Warden trying to rebuild the order of legendary warriors. Along with this monumental task, players will have to discover new secrets of the Darkspawn menace as well as face off against deadly new threats such as the Inferno Golem, Spectral Dragon and a mysterious foe that calls itself the "Architect." Fortunately, Awakening raises the level cap of the game, and provides new abilities, spells, specializations and items for players to acquire.
Players will also have the option to import and revise their characters from Dragon Age: Origins, expanding on the customization of their heroes. Players can also choose to create a brand new Grey Warden from the land of Orlais. Five new party members will also be available for players to recruit and add to their band of adventurers.
According to BioWare co-founder Dr. Ray Muzyka, "Dragon Age: Origins – Awakening shows BioWare's commitment to our fans by delivering new story-driven experiences which enrich the dark heroic fantasy universe our fans have come to know and love. The vibrant worldwide community of Dragon Age fans will relish uncovering the secret motivations of the darkspawn, revealing how the darkspawn continue to infest the world despite the defeat of the Archdemon."
So when im done with the expansion can I go back to the original game or do I have to stay in orlais? Also, do I bring my current party members with me or do they stay in the old world?

You're not going to Orlais. Amaranthine is in Ferelden - it's the arling that Howe ruled and now the Grey Wardens have. You can play as an Orleisian warden, but only in the expansion.

Amarinthine is a part of Ferelden near Highever, where the human noble story is set, according to the codex. Or is this some other Amarinthine?
