Good thing I didn't buy that Warden's Keep bit. Four hour long dungeons don't really appeal to me very much...

Completely Unconfirmed and Completely Unofficial feature list is on:

Given that the official details page now has details, and behold, they agree with Gamestop... safe to say that the information at gamestop is now confirmed. And if you're going to post the link to the game itself, at least try to post the links for the other platforms as well... or simply post the link to the pre-order that is on the official details page.

I have a few questions
What if you sacraficed at the end of DAO? But you want to continue using that origin? are you just SOL.. or will you awaken in the fade perhaps?
And what about items and weapons and gold for those continuing from their DOA game? do you keep what you had? does that include what was in the storage chest for those of us with Warden's Keep?
The info was specific about the Grey Warden Origin from Orlais, he or she is no doubt to go-to guy/gal if you took the plunge and plunged your blade into that Archdemon. Unfortunately it doesnt look like you rev up any of the other origins because most of them died if not chosen, though I'm holding out hope the Orlaisian can be human, elven or dwarven and of any class. That seems fair to me.
And does anyone get a "Gears of War" Locust vibe from the Darkspawn? They were defeated, came back stronger *blah blah* you have a leader that looks very human and even speaks the language.
That would make DAO simply GOW but with swords and bows instead of guns and grenades... and that grenade bow thing the High Gaurds have.
If so I'm down with that

Ooooh another dragon, or as Oghren would say
"What I wouldn't give for that beast's head on my wall. Or even a tooth to wear around my neck. What say we slay the dragon, aye?"

Don't get me wrong, I am excited alright, but I wouldn't want game developers to rush things.

Whose daydreaming? Last I checked they had a release date out there.

I like that answer best! To many games on my plate now (including ME2) and to few to look foward to in the future (besides Red Dead Redemption!)

Having some experience in programming, I seriously doubt that the expansion pack will be out that early. I wouldn't get my hopes high before May.
This is not just any DLC ( ala Return to Ostagar: come to think of it, hasn't it been in developement for quite some time), but an expansion pack, which in my books would mean something the scale of Throne of Bhaal, and that is something you don't want to rush.

I just hope it doesn't equate to the DLCs so far... They are fun but short... and rather pointless... Here's to wishful thinking... and cynicism.

Gah Gamestop changed the PC price to $39.99.
Wow, you are correct. Well I paid in full with tax for the $29.99 when I preordered earlier today. I am sorry Bioware but I will not pay more like Infinity Ward had their fans do. Look where that ended up. Over 4 million pirated copies. It doesn't show at all that EA is your owner, not at all.
Sadly there is a small chance I could end up paying this b/c it looks that awesome but I think after DA:O thanks to Bioware & EA it will be my last Bioware game

But still: it's awesome to see you sticking to the expansion pack system, Bioware : ) CAN'T WAIT!
Also, it's wicked sick to see the Darkspawn actually getting some personality in there, sans just being "RAWR IMA MONSTER". I especially LOVED that one crazy looking mage-like one, reminds me a lot of Tzeentch from Warhammer.

Contradition is what you just posted. It can't be a ridiculous pircve if people are willing to pay it. Prcing is pretty arbitraly and is basically about supply and demand. If someone feels $40 is too high - don't buy it, and wait til it drops. THAT'S how one shows a price is ridiculous not byu whining about it or being a punk and stealing it (not saying that's you).
It reminds mke of the peons who whine about the theatre pricing being 'too high' yet continue to go. And, I've been hearing that particualr whine for as long back as I can remember. L0L
