Pretty confidant that the random talking darkspawn boss (who I hope is really, really tough to kill) is not Morrigans 'child' because I believe she says that the child will have the "soul of the old god which once was" not the darkspawn corrupted archdemon's soul. Sadly I also don't think Morrigan will be coming back in Awakening, because the plot seems to be focussing more on the motives of the darkspawn, and I don't thing the demi-god child is going to be just a side plot; I think it will be a major focus in a future Dragon Age game. Or so I hope.

it's been said many times.
the old god child is (as you said) untainted (or should be. i'd imagine Morrigan would freak out having taint growing in her. heck she'd probably turn into a ghoul or something)

Yes, all your gear from DA:O is imported to Awakening (except the things you store in the chest at Soldier's Peak)

I got a feeling the talking darkspawn is Bregan, from The Calling but then again he did die. I'm guessing this expansion will heavily connect with all that happened in the novels. Definitly going to be cool then

No, but to be fair, pregnancy lasts about nine months. That's three quarters of year. And even if the game does take place after Origins nine months and one week, can a baby really grow that big in such a short time? Wasn't Morrigan going quite the opposite direction of Amaranthine as said on the epilogue of Origins? And did everybody choose to take the ritual?

If there is no "cannon" type ending, then BIOWARE wasted money by hiring Alistair's voice actor on me, because I had him killed in the storyline of the character I intend to import to Awakening.

1. Fernando Melo said in that IGN interview that Awakening is set to play a couple of months after DAO.
2. As Capt. Obvious pointed out, you can also play a new Warden if case your old PC died and therefore did not take her offer. People seems overly obsessed with assuming her physical state as it would be something canon. If she will return, she will return for every player, regardless if he refused her and play as the new Grey Warden or accepted her offer, so her motives of her return will be indifferent to that choice (ofc, if you did accept her ritual, some extra motives will most likely be added i am sure).
3. The Architect and talking Darkspawn are already familiar from David's book the Calling, so without spoiling anything who did not read it yet it's highly unlikely that this is anyway related to her in any way.
4. For people always claiming she went west and Amaranthine is East: you must live an interesting live if you can't travel into one direction, than stop after some time and turn to a different direction or return in the exact same direction you came from. How do you ever get home after work?
That she simply headed West months before did not have to say that she did not changed her direction after some time.
And they already confirmed your decisions will carry over, so there is indeed no canon type of ending

"The ability to re-spec your character", how far does that go? can you change class/race/origin? or is it just how your attribute points are distributed? and will all other dlc, shale and blood dragon armour and soldier;s peak, carry forward at all?

Maybe because the devs said so. They also said Morrigans story is not going to be in any DLC. I know, tough luck., but thats the sad little thing we call reality.
