Shale turned into a Broodmother! I was wrong it her as a Broodmother.

Would you please not turn this into a spam thread? The last thing we need is to have this locked too.

Back on track....as I said Morrigan's child would have likely been born by the time Awakening starts.

Well like I said I cannot know who it will or will not be we can keep saying it not going to be Oghren as he not popular as I would of gathered with this trend alone. People like Morrigan and Alistair from everything we know about Alistair being king and Morrigan having that child they will most likely be non playable if anything, it leaves us with the others and I doubt it is Shale and the rest can die throughout game all but Oghren. They have said you can't choose who this companion will be well a Mod did anyway.

But not being able to choose doesn't necesserily have to mean you can't influence. They might end up having of two or three possible candidates determined by your choices rather than by direct choice upon starting Awakening. Probably not but still something to place out there.

Now also remember that the game-end ceremony is 5+ months after killing the archdemon and a few weeks away before the PC's wedding if you are a noble and went that way(yes David Gaider confirmed that months pass between) and then Awakening happens several months after that......so it's entirely probable that Morrigan already had the child at this point. Sice 6+"several" likely means more than 9.

Yeah and maybe the child play out as venus who was born as a Adult and here you have another party menber.

I guess if that was the case maybe She would be playable I do think it too soon to start the God Child issue yet.  Sorry about that useless comment could not help myself lol.

From reading the second book I think the Architect will be a so much more interesting bad guy than a huge Dragon god that was really kinda weak for the story.

So that's it? You can't come up with something reasonable and decided spam instead? What I said is true. The end game clearly says that the PC married after 6 months, at the ceremony Anora tells you the wedding is weeks away and David Gaider confirmed the time span.

I hope this guy and the Spectral Dragon are stronger, I hope Bioware have listened to comments made by posters about the Archdemon.

Hey i know what you mean and i would love to see Morrigan again but even if se did gave birth who would take care of that child while she is hunting darkspawn with you/You think she qould just throw an old god like that just to chase you?

This sort of reminds me of Maric's illegitimate son he had during The Calling(likely Alistair) since the mother left after conceiving him and then popped up one night out of nowehre 9+ months later to present Maric whith his child....asked him to let the child be raised outside the palace and not be recognized by Maric officially nor be told his mother was a elf.

Come to think of it Do you really think Morrigan would help you against the Darkspawn if she has that child to take care off this was her main goal not really to help you in first place. There also speculation about her possibly being even Flemeth.

She may come back and ask you to do something for the child the way Fiona asked Maric in The Calling to do for the child that appears to likely be Alistair.

Character that you can play with is not going to be Alastair - for 2 reasons. Firstly the guy in his interview with IGN talks about not wanting to revel who it is and because he is in the trailer it's a tad to obvious, although I do believe we will see him again. It is more likely to be Moriggan - not zevran because the character must be one who can't be killed off in the first game and thus couldn't be brought into the new game. In none of the games endings is flemith official said to be dead(makes it deliberately vague) which is suspicious.

No you missunderstand...I am not saying that Alistair is the returning party member. I am saying Alistair is likely the child King Maric had during the book "The Calling".

Oghren can't be killed either Shas0, matter of fact no matter what you do he never leaves Fereldan.

Did you black out during half the cutscenes in the game? It's said Alistair is Maric's bastard about a hundred times, hell the plot of Origins is centered around that little tidbit of information.

I think there so many Oghren haters I personally don't mind Oghren but so many people hate him and basically refuse to even consider it might be him.

I think Alistair will make an important role in the story whether he is playable or not that is yet to be seen but in one part of the video he does say something like Ï was starting to miss all this darkspawn killing thing"

That could be just a quote he saying because he king he also says something similar if you make him king and let Loghain live and talk to him after the demon killing.

Yes but his mother is not confirmed to be Fiona so it is possible Maric had more than one bastard son. All the pieces fit but it is not something that is "confirmed" to be 100% true anywhere......hence it's just "very likely".

Isn't that a little shortsighted? I'm not a big fan of Oghren and though they could have made a better selection but when you look at all of the companions and all of the epilogues his is the easiest to explain and the safest to use. If there indeed is only ever one option for the returning companion, he is simply the most logical choice out of the bunch. There are people who would hate whatever companion they picked, so simply saying it can't be done because there are "so many Oghren haters" isn't really a good reason to stand on because the same claim could easily be made if it was Morrigan, Zev, Alistair, Leliana, Dog, ect.

It seems to me that the story must be progressive, so we will not probably see any DLC in the old campaign after "the Awekaning" [the whole transfer to Amaranthine = You can't go back thing]

Also I have a doubtfull feeling that you will be alive even if u sacrificed yourself, by some strange things that we can not understand (in the begining of the trailer your PC is in the fade (i think) , maybe some strange ressurection accured) the Morrigan god-baby story is just too damn good to be tossed away, and I think that bit...eee WITCH has a plan.

And How you can rebuild the warden's if You are the King? Or the queen/ban/advisor or gone to Sten's land and so on and on and on. It would be cool to see the new Orlesian GW speaking with your old PC as the king (baby!)
