I know I have ask quite a few questions within this thread and they may have been answered or maybe they weren't but alas something else that makes me ponder:



Are there just 5 recruitable grey warden canidates or are there a handful but you can only recruit five? Sorry if this question has been answer or is completely obvious but just something I am thinking about.

We don't know. Not many details are out yet. Same for the other guy's question about the cutscenes.

we can re-spec our characters in awakening right? does that mean just re allocating the attribute points? or could we redesign how they look, their class or race?

I would just like to ask if-for those importing a character, if all their decisions/relationships continue on in Awakening?



See, I was a bit unorthodox and ended up 100 (Love) with both Zevran and Alistair. ANd then my elf ended up being the King's Mistress. Or something. I'm under the impression that yes, actions and decisions like that will have ramifications on the expansion when you import a character. Yes, no, maybe so?

   Bioware did not clarify but they only mentioned respecing skills, attibute points, talents, & specializations. ( I really doubt it)

I don't think you have to read all 79 pages just the first page or read the interview from ign.com

Now i am even more cruel: i hope so.
No, really, given that in every joining recruits die, imo it would be pretty unrealistic and boring if you gather a group of recruits and they all survive.
That's why it might also be not such a bad idea that your old party is no longer your party. I for myself don't want to see a former companion that has grown to me through such a long time and even survived killing the arch demon die from drinking Darkspawn blood later on.

I would not hesitate to pay $40 if the expansion ends up being like Valkyrie Profile. That was a great game. Plucking lost souls from every facet of Feralden, knights, criminals, slaves, etc. and taking them under your wing would be really cool.  Hahah.  It would be like playing through 5+ origin stories without starting over.  Awesome.

I don't know what others may say but I would think it would be awesome.  Be kinda arkward having him drink his own people's blood. . . well actually he wouldn't need to. . .  in any case, i do agree with you.

I think it means we can  just mess around with attribute points. I feel positive that you can't change your race or your class. However your looks I'm not sure about in mass effect 2 you can so I have no idea.

A: is this an expansion??? (i.e. it depends on me having DA:O installed rite?)

B: wat if i havnt finished DA:O yet??!?!?! (lol too much work keeps me off my PC)

I think we can be pretty certain Morrigan won't be returning in this expansion. Why would she? Besides from the ign interview it would seem this expansion takes place when Morrigan is well into her pregnancy and I dont really see her fight in such a state?

I never thought of that. The obvious epic decision is being in the shoes of a Grey Warden commander and having someone refuse and having to........well you know what I am getting at. What happen if you as the Commander don't have the resolve to kill someone for refusing the blood mid ceremony.

I don't know if this question has been anwered or not, but will I be able to download it from the playstation store or will I have to buy a disc from the retailer? I think I would rather buy it from Gamestop because I would probably take several hours to download.

Both, from an ign q&a:

Fernando Melo: There will be both retail and download versions
of it. It is by far the biggest expansion that we'll be releasing. I
can't talk about the number of hours at this point, but in general, you
can definitely expect a lot of gameplay. I don't think we know how to
make games differently. Even without the replayability, I think it's
safe to say that it's larger than pretty much any downloadable content
out there. I think we need to treat it a lot more like a traditional
retail expansion, which is really what it is -- it'll just have a
downloadable version as well. But it'll be fairly massive. It'll be
bigger than most retail games.
