It's that magical time of the year again... less than two weeks until the cinematic release of The Hobbit!
In honour of this most exciting occaision, I was thinking about some of the more dwarf-specific modules I've come across in NWN2. Here is a short list of the ones I recall:
Roads of Flinrock by thibbledorf
The Road to Aaran Muin by Balgin Stondraeg
Isle of Shrines by Dann Pigdon
and me own humble offering, warts and all,
The Halls of Hamhock
If I've missed any, this thread would be a good place to list other module submissions. Or mention new ideas for projects that might make Thorin and Company proud.
Harumph!

If' ye needs a project to make a dwarf proud, I suggest recreating the 1999 tsr module "the Axe of the Dwarvish Lords".
The dwarvish clans are in chaos, and a powerful host of goblins stands poised to sweep over the land in a wave of death and terror. Only the Axe of the Dwarvish Lords--one of the most powerful weapons ever created by the dwarven race--holds the key to ultimate victory against the massing humanoids. Can the PCs brave the labyrinth of an abandoned dwarven stronghold to find the Axe?
for characters of levels 13-15.
Or if you need some inspiration for a dwarven stronghold, it has a great map, though it's rather large.

That is a great module. I have it on the bookshelf here somewhere. In fact, The Axe of the Dwarvish Lords was one of the best artifacts detailed even going back to the old AD&D editions. I would enjoy seeing this recreated for NWN2. The idea of searching for a powerful item of significance to the heritage of a people is very interesting.
I'm hoping to see more interest in dwarven culture over the next several weeks and months.

Time also to get out the old AD&D splatbook The Complete Book of Dwarves? How much of the lore in that book was changed in later editions, I wonder?

I got most of the Dwarven lore for Isle of Shrines from Dwarves Deep. The information in there was quite comprehensive, and served as the basis for the test on Dwarven lore that good-aligned PCs have to go through in the Shrine of Dugmaren Brightmantle.
Details about Moonshae dwarves had to be gleaned from elsewhere though.

That sounds like a book I need in my collection.

I also picked up the Quintessential Dwarf II, which is an OGL source book, and Pathfinder has a pretty decent dwarven reference guide as well.

@ Dorateen
Thank you for posting this thread this is really great information.
I had not yet noted - but now read and immediately downloaded Halls and Edinmoor.
It seems to me there are a number of overlooked mods on the vault such as these endeavors. Road , Isle and Halls seem to make such a situation obvious as they are under-voted, voted too low, or simply need to be highlighted thematically to differentiate from the noise of everything else etc. I do NOT want to open a debate on voting standards; but as is common the early adherence to a standard becomes corrupted as newer content gets their vote level inflated for example (Maybe I am guilty of such as much as anyone as I came late to the game).
I would be curious if one (you / we / us the community) could infact post a thread that gets stickied about such themes... "the following mods have very strong Dwarven feature" ..."the following mods have strong eleven flavor".... etc
Anyway cheers - I look forward to playing your mods. Please drop me a PM if you had any thoughts about how I might strong them together with other mods to make a "campaign"....
