Tolerance is of course a virtue, and I do remember that not everyone speaks English.
I just get the urge to kill and stomp up and down on words with numbers in them. It's probably freudian. Nevertheless, I do think people should try and get the words and sentences accurate and clear. If I was, say, to go to a Japanese forum, I would try my hardest to make sure my Japanese was right.
Tolerating genuine newbishness is a good thing, tolerating random leetspeak isn't, eh?
About this, english is not my first language, and while I like being corrected, because writing in a forum is a way to improve my english, I don't think it's polite pointing other people mistakes (I'm saying I wouldn't do it). If you read a message I wrote that is written with bad grammar, feel free to correct it.
And about people writing unaccurately, happens if they are still learning, and you can tell if they are trying to make it clear or not.
But, in the end, people can write as they want, with or without numbers and good grammar, it's up to them and it's up to us reading it or not, so I don't have any problem with it.
