Hey. I was playing Neverwinter Nights 2 the Main Campaign. I was just done with defeating the bandits near Fort Locke and when I was returning to the world map, the map marker for Fort Loch had disappeared. I was puzzled and figured it must be that it cannot be accessed directly from the bandit camp.
I went to the Weeping Willow inn instead and tried the world map from there. Then suddenly the bandit camp had disappeared aswell. Now all I have is West Harbor, the Lizard ruins and the Weeping WIllow Inn. I cannot get anywhere else and I don't feel like restarting the game over from scratch, even though I'm not very far.
I know how to enter commands and was wondering if there is anyway to get the map markers back up or a way to teleport to Fort Loche.
Thanks,
Hamoth.
World Map Markers suddenly disappear.

hey Hamoth,
disappearing 'hotspots' on the WorldMap is fairly common as far as bugs go. Here's a couple of teleport commands to Fort Locke.
debugmode 1
rs ga_jump_players("wp_OL_to_1209", 1, 0)
debugmode 0
or,
debugmode 1
rs ga_load_mod("1200_Highcliff", "wp_OL_to_1209")
debugmode 0
The first works when you're in that module, the second should work regardless of module.
While it is possible to hunt up all the tags and the 'show hotspot' command, I seem to remember that you should eventually get a great long list of them in Act I. ( 20+ hotspots? -- Act I is too long ) And there could be other problems that go with this. If you want to try pressing on, I'm not sure if the hotspots will appear/reappear, and it might be less trouble to restart (even defrag & reinstall). Otherwise, let me know what hotspots you need and give it a go,
eg.
rs ka_hotspot_show("1209FortLocke")

Yeah, something is messed up. I managed to get to Fort Locke with that first command. Seems like the commander has forgotten everything about the quests and reset to how he was when I found him in the graveyard tombs. No additional map markers added either.
I'll restart a new game after a reinstall and defrag. Thanks for the help, KevL.

- not sure if you seen this, Installing NWN 2
I like to load the game and play for a minute or two after each expansion (though i'm not sure what your edition is), then when it feels comfortable Update all
