Hi guys I Just bought this game plus a new Xbox 360 elite a few days ago and am having trouble with the game freezing when it tries to load at the same point every time. It's the point when you fight the boss called Sloath at the realm of dreams. After I defeat him and talk to the other mage it Freezes when it tries to load the next mission.
Iv'e tried fixing the problem by using an older save and playing up to the same point but got the same result plus I also installed the game to the hard drive and the game still freezes. Does anyone have any suggestions what I can do?

++ SPOILER ALERT ++
It Just happened to me on the Arch Demon fight. I just killed him today and just as he fell the game froze up. It seems that as I got closer to the end of the game it would start to happen more often. As if the number of mobs was too much to calculate or something.

Might be you system has a problem in the manufacture of it, or your game is screwed, try a different game and see what happens.

I had the 'freeze in the same spot over and over and over' thing happen to me. For me it was related to the memory leak which happens when you play for long periods of time.
Here is how I was able to solve this problem each time it happened to me:
Exit the game.
Remove DA:O from hard drive.
Insert another game, boot it up to that game menu. (Repeat this 2 more times loading a total of 3 different games.) This is a fast way to clear your Xbox 360 game cache without removing other files from your cache.
Put DA:O back in your drive.
Play DA:O
Hopefully this will work for you. If you just bought your 360 and don't own 3 other games then you will need to go to Xbox.com and research on the other method for clearing your cache.
I believe that at certain times the memory leak bug can also cause a glitch in your cahche and so reloading DA:O without clearing your cache results in constant freezing at the exact same point. This 'exact same point' can vary depending upon when the memory leak infects your cache.
The memory leak is a KNOWN ISSUE BY BIOWARE and has since release not been fixed.
The memory leak also causes other bugs to happen like not being able to loot corpses for up to one minute.
Further advice:
If you notice that corpses are starting to take an unusually long time to become lootable, exit the game, quit to your dashboard and then restart.
For reference I have 6 complete playthroughs on the Xbox 360 and some other partial playthroughs. I have played this game way too much (meaning I have some experience witht he 360 version of this game).
Cheers!

I had same issue with other games freezing up at same point in game. After some time it actually ended up be my xbox was dying from the dreaded ring of fire. This was on my first machine while it was out for repair I bought a new one … almost the same time later close to a year it to did the same dam thing started freezing up in the same spot on a game over and over.. So If you have not yet had your machine fixed it is quite possible it is on its way to the red fiery death.
