So could someone from BioWare please let us know if the Asari Huntress' Tactical Cloak is or is not working as intended?
Didn't see anything on the update, so now I'm a bit concerned...
We are investigating this issue. She is supposed to have a weapon damage bonus from her cloak just like regular cloak, so this is a bug.
Thanks for the response yo

It's good to know though, so I appreciate the answer. At least the debate about it can end now.

As usual, the nerfs are ridiculous and the buffs meagar. Another gun for the trash bin. Good work boys. This game is pretty much done.
You really think a 10% nerf ruined the Acolyte?

Ah sweet! That's great news!
At least we all now what's going on. I'm looking forward to her being fixed!
Now to go check out the Quarian Marksman.

You can still 3 shot banshee barriers on gold with heavy pistol barrel on the Acolyte (without speccing any weapon passives or using any equipment or gear.)
But if you want to throw it in the trash be my guest.

The Ghost hasn't changed much. 12.5% weapon damage now rather than 17.5%, and actually makes the 40% shields from stim pack worth speccing into. As for the missing 5%, I honestly don't think it will effect his overall power, a Harrier X will still shred things instantly.
Exactly. That's why I'm wondering what they were up to. was it to reign in the Ghost's damage potential? Because it failled miserably. I prefer just a short cloak to slip away, so I'm still not feeling the need to go for the 40% shield anyway. The 4000 max shield was always the problem anyway, not the damage boost of the stims.

Marksman: Great character on paper. Obviously I haven't unlocked him yet. But he has 3 usable powers, and the combo of Tac Scan and Marksman is amazing, even if Tac Scan's headshot evo is bugged. I'm not sure how easy it will be to Tac scan something, engage marksman, and melt enemies, but it has potential. Interesting to see some gameplay of it.
The Acolyte nerf: Good god, I had to listen to whiners all friggin morning on this forum and now they've all disappeared. It won't change this pistol at all. They could have cut the damage by 50% and it would still be the best at what it does.
The Valkyrie "buff": Pitiful.
The Saber buff: a small buff, won't be very significant at all.
The stimpack nerf: A step in the right direction, although the TGI will still probably be the best character. Anyone saying that this will kill the Havoc is probably mistaken. He still his free OPs packs.
Havoc Strike: Actually a good buff, although most people will just look at the damage and say, "meh". The 2 second faster cooldown is the real buff.
Overall these are some pretty minor changes. Nothing game-altering.

Hyperbole. If you'd kindly stop pretending that there's all these massives nerfs and step back in reality that be appreciated.cramycram wrote...
I love how Bioware continues to nerf something almost every week, yet refuses to fix what's actually WRONG with this game.
....
So yes Bioware, please, by all means continue to make nerf after nerf to this game and pay no attention to how completely broken every other aspect of the game is. Obviously, there are more important things to fix.
Also balance changes can't fix most issues. A seperate team is probably working on fixing issues, though I wish those could/would be more frequent.

nah I just think that he was a bit too tanky as well as having massive DPS and cloak, and a dodge. Yesterday my TGI stood in front of a Prime, a trooper and a pyro while reviving two team members.billy the squid wrote...

Drama much. A whopping 10% or so damage nerf to the acolyte puts it closer to where it should be. And yes, stim packs were OP.

I don't see her as a weapons expert anyway. Slap on the acolyte, take the power dmg bonus evo on TC, and you have a pretty damn effective DoT "warlock" class.

Well that was the problem. The stims gave you 4000 shields and cloak on top of that made you incredibly powerful.
The weapon damage nerf is kind of random. 7% isn't going to hit the Ghost really as he can still boost damage heavily. I prefered to boost the damage of my Havo when I was using a shotgun and I could restore shields to 2000, which was enough, to get out again.
With the shield nerf I would have considered shifting to the 40% shield boost, the damage nerf just has me wondering what they were up to really.

It's not that the stim packs are over powerful in a way that they give too much shield, it's the invincibility frames you get from them. Pop a stim pack and you can stand in front of anything and not take damage. Even a platinum geth prime becomes trivial.N-Seven wrote...
