Hyperbole. If you'd kindly stop pretending that there's all these massives nerfs and step back in reality that be appreciated.

Also balance changes can't fix most issues. A seperate team is probably working on fixing issues, though I wish those could/would be more frequent.


You must work for Bioware. Way to completely and totally ignore my entire post of VALID issues this game has and instead notion the fact that I am "embellishing."

I really would've preferred them to decrese the friggin weight...instead of this insult of a supposed "buff".  The Saber gets a 33 point increase. and Valkyrie gets 5????  Why even bother?

Both valkyrie and sabre buffs seem a little lacking.
Valkyrie probably still won't hit quite hard enough to be anything but a head popper (though it is great at that, 20 headshots before 25 kills every time with that gun) but the sabre buff?

Confused. Lack of damage really isn't an issue with the sabre it's the steep learning curve that comes with the low RoF and high recoil.

Anyway still..... Kills bosses better now!

We are investigating this issue. She is supposed to have a weapon damage bonus from her cloak just like regular cloak, so this is a bug.

I still dont get why so many people think the TGI or Havoc are broken or OP. Since they have come out, the only character I find myself reviving more often than these two are the blasted Volus. Nothing against the characters (any of them) but when you find yourself reviving every TGI you find in a PUG two to three times a wave, but only reviving Drell Adepts once r twice a GAME, that tells me something.

That and I've never been able to get Stim Packs to work, period. Like the OPs packs all that happens is I glow/shimmer for a second then I drop dead when I get hit by anything, even when my shields are already full.

No I dont mean sync kills, I mean getting one shotted by Geth Primes on Gold or Phantom's Phase Disrupter on Silver. Perhaps like the Kishock or Falcon these characters are only usable by the host?

As for the meger buff for the Valkyrie, thats 5% per shot, and each shot is three rounds, so thats actually a 15% buff per trigger pull. Stack this with Marksmen which increases rate of fire on say a Turian Soldier and you actually have a half decent weapon. I call it my poor mans Harrier, since after one thousand games (most of which were on gold) and close to four houndred hours, I STILL only have the Harrier at level 2. My odds with leveling up the Valkyrie are VASTLY higher than ever getting another Harrier.

Saber buff is very welcome, despite only having it at level 3 its one of my favorite weapons on my Turian Soldier and perhaps for the Quarian Marksman, the increase ROF makes it a very useful weapon. Its no Harrier X, but at least I have it.

Good to see the Acolyte nerf was indeed a minor one, but I wish the Valkyrie had gotten the Saber's buff. The Marksman will be interesting to try out once I get it.

Since i use the saber on my ghost i lose damage on the stim but make it up with the saber. The Acolyte nerf is unwanted but i guess i get, I know I'll still use it. and yay no Vanguard this week

That's a massive nerf to stimpacks and not much of a HS buff, on balance I think Turian Havoc will be worse now! Bad news, looking forward to the Quarian Marksman but the balance changes are disappointing

Not to be argumentative but after looking at the update notes surely the devs time would be better spent in fixing things like the cloak and the Collectors (an entire faction is bugged) instead of nerfing things that are popular? Sometimes I get the impression that we were sold an incomplete product that is still being tested.

     - "Corpse warping" (dying somewhere other than where you were shot down).
     - Powers going through enemies
     - Having to spam op packs
          - Op packs being consumed and dying anyway

2. Dying instantly when being revived (whether it's from being stagger locked or sync-killed.

3. The whole "X button does everything" feature. Why has there not been an option to rebind keys? The L3 and R3 buttons don't even do anything in MP.

6. Inability to kick players in-game.

10. "Magnetic" sticky targetting. If I try to turn to target another enemy while already targeting a different one, the reticle will stick to the first enemy as though being pulled toward it by a magnet.

11. Overload glitch on Geth Bombers.

12. Vanguards are STILL getting killed mid-charge even though this was supposedly fixed.

13 And finally, my favorite, the total system freeze. This has been happening more and more often lately. For no reason, the system will lock up, forcing people to hard reset their system.

So yes Bioware, please, by all means continue to make nerf after nerf to this game and pay no attention to how completely broken every other aspect of the game is. Obviously, there are more important things to fix.

It could be a while. We've found some technical issues with that fix that could prevent us from fixing it through live updates.


If this issue is going to take a while, then how about a temporary hot fix to nerf the Collectors a bit? You can adjust the nerf back when you get the combos working properly.

The reason I suggest this is because people are avoiding the Collectors as much as they can. I have never found a lobby that has the faction selected. And on platinum it seems everybody is picking a faction to avoid the Collectors. Because the Collectors do not spawn in the other three faction selections, people will just pick one to avoid them.

Something needs to be done, even if it is temporary. At the very least, the seeker swarms need a serious HP reduction.

I think you missed the boat with the Havok and Havok Strike.

The Havok suffers from some of the same problems that Vanguards do and that hitting that 1000N of force and hitting multiple targets on BC/HS is pretty much a requirement for playing on Gold. For the Havok to hit those marks, he has to go power damage twice in his racial, which hurts his weapon damage. And he is a weapon damage class.

Havok Strike should have had it's Force increased so that players could still go weapon damage and have a 'Biotic Charge' that didn't end in potential death.

I really don't get it.

You guys cannot, possibly, with a straight face, say that you do not know what the problem areas are. You keep telling us that you know about certain problems - infinite Geth stunlock coming readily to mind, and even say you're going to do something about them, but then, after months, nothing materializes.... But lo, there's always time and room for nerfs and buffing enemies. Do problems the community raises simply not matter, or is there really that much of a drive to fix everything *but* these...?

Wow, dozens of threads saying that the N7 Valkyrie is trash and needs at least a 15% damage increase and a weight decrease; yet you still only give it a 5% damage increase?

Weren't there Hunter and Prime rate of fire and speed nerfs a while back after Retaliation?  Might not have been enough, then?
