took out for a spin last night
Acolyte was needing an extra shot, so the nerf was felt a little bit (still very usable)
didn't feel the stimpack nerf too bad, but I always used them like ops packs, not superman style

I agree. Instead of them trying to hide all the glitches behind new characters and making the glitches more difficult by nerfing good weapons, FIX THE GLITCHES FIRST. I would much rather have minor to no glitches that do not have a significant effect on matches than 5 new characters. I can wait for the characters, the glitches that have not been fixed is lazy and poor maintenance on BWs end. I may need the better stimpacks when the bullets curve around corners, enemies kill me seconds after I have already killed them, ops packs do not work when I tell them too, or when players bleed out because reviving is broken half the time and I am the last person standing. I could list more but do not have the time.

I didn't read this until now, but I suspected it when it took me about 6 shots to kill a phantom on Platinum.

But...stoked about Havok Strike's boost, as well as the Valkyrie and Saber buffs.
As for the Quarian Soldier? Well, I don't have him yet, so if I get him, I'll react then.

Stop buffing enemies and nerfing characters and weapons! if people want a challenge, here's some ideas:
1. don't use a gear bonus or any equipment or try ones you haven't used before or don't like
2. Don't use high power weapons!
3. go play on higher difficulties with absolute crap equipped! there's your challenge!
some of us used to play this casually but no longer do so because they broke a perfectly fine game. every now and then i ask my friends if they want to play only to hear them say "Only if they've buffed X(character/weapon) or nerfed Y(enemy) and bring it back to what it used to be: good"

Whole heartedly agree. It appears either one of two things is happening here: Either someone at BW is out to ruin the game intentionally so perhaps new franchises can take over those of the retired founders, or they are catering exclusively to the >1% consumer base who want a game so challenging that only maybe a dozen people in the world can play and the new consumer base for ME games is about the same size. Then they have to charge $250,000 for each game in order to make any money at it. Why they would do either is beyond me. On the one hand, if you cater to only the sub 1%, you are severely limiting your potential customers. On the other, if you ruin one of your own games in order to bring in new games that some previous manager started, then you run a very high risk of ruining your reputation for any game and severely damaging the confidence of your product with potential customers.
I agree generally with what was said here. What they need to do instead is to fix the bugs, make the game work better (such as the crappy x button function that does like 10 different things. If they want such precision and timing to affect the game, they NEED to fix problems such as the X button.) Some characters, weapons, and powers appear to have a delayed execution, I would prefer instead some acknowledgement that said function was properly executed so that I do not wonder if my character is doing anything I command it to with the controller. Make it a slow animation to execute but that it starts doing something so you know you actually did it. Controls for your character should probably err in your favor if it is too close for a human to call (less so perhaps for the higher level the match is). The unforgiving style of control leads to more frustration, again because so much is dependent upon precise timing or fast timing, which is by default imperfect from the controls, from the internet connection, and sometimes from the response time in which you press a button to actual execution. You may know you did this or that on time or in plenty of time but you see it fail and grind your teeth.
I would rather see real challenges brought into the game not purely mass numbers or higher hitpoints or some magic method where the game laws and physics apply to you the player but not to the enemy units you fight.

So could someone from BioWare please let us know if the Asari Huntress' Tactical Cloak is or is not working as intended?
Didn't see anything on the update, so now I'm a bit concerned...
We are investigating this issue. She is supposed to have a weapon damage bonus from her cloak just like regular cloak, so this is a bug.
I think that with the amount of bugs currently exists thanks to the Retaliation DLC, it is only proper that you create a patch to fix all these instead of limiting yourselves to live updates. There's no excuse now with the severity of those bugs like Huntress losing weapon bonus damage and Marksman have lower base shield than his brothers and who knows what others (ah yes Shadow Strike bug and the still exist Collector DR bug). All these are serious bugs and directly affects the gameplay and game balance, it's only right that a patch should be used to fix all these.

I dont think its limited to the X button. I have a controller that functions perfectly on so many other games, yet it seems that my controller turns into a pile of $%#! when playing this game. At least once every match I try to use an ops pack or thermal pack and I end up pulling out my missile launcher, when I run, its only about 2 steps before I stop and this goes on 5 or 6 time in a row, when I go to revive someone, I can see the little ring turning green but nothing happens, when I use an ops pack, I hear the sounds, but nothing happens and I die, just to revive right away down a medi-gel as well, or the greatest one, when I cannot use my weapons, powers or consumables for several minutes. I also know I am not the only one with these issues as sometimes my headset blows up with other players complaining of the same things.
Bioware really drops the ball when it comes to these things. I get the impression that they are not that concerned with these numerous problems. They must think that they can hide the glitches by giving us new characters every week and doing more weekend events. Such a great game that they have invested so much time and money into just to be plagued with all of these problems.

Instead of nerfing you should focus to more urgent problems:
- biotic charge problems
- shadow strike against atlases
- balance problems with collectors
- etc.
No more nerfing pls., thanks.

Agreed times 10! Missle Glitching has been around since the game came out and they have done nothing about that but they nerf weapons and buff weapons weekly. Makes no sense.McAllyster wrote...

Why is it every balance change usually involves nerfing great weapons. The acolyte was fine!
Not to mention the Stim Pack nerf...
maybe you should make other classes and weapons worthwhile instead of messing stuff up?

Same problems here. Controller turns into a piece of crap when playing this. No matter what dpad button I hit, I get missile launcher. Revives work 50% of the time. Weapons/powers freeze up. Sometimes I can't take cover at all at the beginning of a match. They really should FIX the game, not nerf it and call that a fix.
