He has Engineer's Weapon Damage (22.50 @ max). Why not just give him 30% weapons damage and be done with it?

Sabotage Cooldown buff... won't affect the QFI because she cancels her cooldown with Tac Cloak.

Other option is to buff Tac Scan... but the other two Quarian Male characters are very well balanced.

He's a Quarian, they should have something techie in their bonus, how about 30% shield regeneration instead of 15%?

30% weapons damage if you choose both weapon damage evolutions would be nice (like Turian Havoc)

Thats.... pretty awesome... I never thought of it like that..... It doesn't make much difference what his base shields are. You can adjust his %bonuses in the tree and make up for it. Which is way easier than a patch to adjust his base... crafty work... I approve!

I did three runs with him on silver, pugs to try and get the feel...LV 17 then 18, Indra X first two, Saber X third, two cerbie and one collectors.....weapon damage is top drawer with marksman, tac scan with collectors is excellent but holy smokes this character is hard to keep upright, cerb wasn't too bad but collectors were a nightmare, I don't think this is a character I would personally venture into gold with. Didn't spec into sabotage.

Some more weapon/headshot damage in his passive tree would be nice. And possibly some major buffs to sabotage, so, you know, it would actually be worth speccing into.

What about Defense Matrix? It would fit with his being a quarian, and give both defense and offense.

Reduce the cooldown on Sabotage. The QFI has a 3 second cooldown anyway so it would not matter to her.

If you want to buff his defensive capabilities, then you can modify the % bonus he gets (especially the rank 2 fitness for those who only put 3 points in fitness) and/or give him more shield regen bonus.

As for offense: more passive weapon damage and a cooldown decrrease for sabotage would be VERY nice.

As it is his passive tree really pales in comparison to the only other character with marksman: The Turian Soldier.

I would agree with you for a major bug, but I don't see this one as a big enough deal to delay release.

Besides, it sounds like this is an issue with Retaliation and not this week's live update which is only just unlocking access to the class.  All they could have or would have done was buff his Fitness tree, which they'll do next week anyways.  According to the Fagnan, adjusting his base shields must be done via patch.

I don't quite understand all the fuss over 100 shields. Nearly all the humans have 500 base and of course drell and vorcha have even less. And 100 shields is such a pitiful amount when playing higher difficulties.

So the answer to this is that BW is thinking of doing something to his offense to compensate for the 100 less shields. That sounds awesome, seriously, it does, and I totally approve of such a move. But what exactly balances the OG humans who essentially excel at nothing? Is there any reason to ever play them? They do not even have their own challenges.

This is only to reply on the challenges part.  Nova, that is literally the only thing that comes to mind that no other race besides the original human characters have.  We no have another class with the combat drone rather than the Human Engineer, and there's the Phoenix Adept with Singularity, and there isn't a challenge for Adrenaline Rush so that takes out the Huma Soldiers, all Infiltrators have tactical scan, and with the exception of the Paladin and Volus all Sentinels have Tech Armor.  So again, only original human who has points for challenges are the Human Engineer (Combat Drone), Human Sentinel (Tech Armor), Human Adept (Singularity), and Human Vanguard (Nova).  All other powers that they may possess with the exception of Adrenaline Rush other characters have.
