how about a Sabotage buff? Fact is on the non infs, it's going to feel severly underpowered and the extra long cooldown is going to hurt them far more than the inf.

I'm confused, haven't the Turian's, Krogran's, and Batarian's, health/shields been increased through balance tweaks?
Because he has the Human fitness most likely. Not a new custom race fitness. This can't be change without a patch. Lack of Beta testing shows. One of many reasons I don't take the Devs seriously, nor think they have any right to Nerf any bloody thing.
Actually he does have a custom Fitness so we are able to modify his Fitness specifically.
But not through weekly balance changes, like you did with Turians, Krogan and Batarians?
Yes we can adjust the bonuses from his Fitness power through live updates.
Well then, just give his evo 1 a +50% h/s boost! It would mean a 0 fitness soldier would be gimped, but that's not horrible ...

So I guess no one is worried about him obsoleting the Turian Soldier then?
I doubt that they would give him enough of a damage boost to compare to the 37.5% the TSol gets. Also, keep in mind that the TSol gets higher encumbrance, up to 55% weapon stability and a HS bonus better than other kits. The QS would need a significant offensive boost to make the TSol obsolete.

This is only to reply on the challenges part. Nova, that is literally the only thing that comes to mind that no other race besides the original human characters have. We no have another class with the combat drone rather than the Human Engineer, and there's the Phoenix Adept with Singularity, and there isn't a challenge for Adrenaline Rush so that takes out the Huma Soldiers, all Infiltrators have tactical scan, and with the exception of the Paladin and Volus all Sentinels have Tech Armor. So again, only original human who has points for challenges are the Human Engineer (Combat Drone), Human Sentinel (Tech Armor), Human Adept (Singularity), and Human Vanguard (Nova). All other powers that they may possess with the exception of Adrenaline Rush other characters have.Outrider42 wrote...
I don't quite understand all the fuss over 100 shields. Nearly all the humans have 500 base and of course drell and vorcha have even less. And 100 shields is such a pitiful amount when playing higher difficulties.
So the answer to this is that BW is thinking of doing something to his offense to compensate for the 100 less shields. That sounds awesome, seriously, it does, and I totally approve of such a move. But what exactly balances the OG humans who essentially excel at nothing? Is there any reason to ever play them? They do not even have their own challenges.
Volus Sent has combat drone, so that knocks out one of those powers you list. The Asari Sent has Tech Armor as well, so there's another.
So that leaves only Nova as the single unique power among the vanilla humans. Then you have the Phoenix, he and the N7 humans all do have challenges. And don't forget, you do not need every challenge to master Biotic God. You can totally skip Nova if you desire. So it is very possible to complete all the challenges without using any vanilla humans.
But back to my main point, the Destroyer is the only human who has more than 500 shields. Nobody ever talks about the OG humans in this game. They are squishy and their powers are generally inferior to everything else. So I find it funny that people take time to complain about one Quarian with 500 shields. He has both a buff and a debuff, and unlike warp, tac scan cannot be blocked and it can even be cast without breaking cover. There are a bunch of characters with 500 shields in this game.

So the Quarian soldier is weaker than other quarians.
I guess this explains why they got kicked off their own home planet.

The QM's primary skill is Marksman and head-shots can do sufficient damage even on Gold without the need for damage buffs. What the QM needs is more health and shields. If only we had Fortification or a grenade power (anything which doesn't interefere with Marksman spamming) instead of Sabotage, the QM would be much more useful.

The 10% make me feel guilty. Yes things need to be fixed... it can be said without trying to come up with dramatic ways of putting it. Look at the posts that Mr. Fagnan is responding to, the language isn't civil in at least a few of them.

To the people asking if they can 'fix' this-
You need to pay attention to the fix you want. His BASE Shields and Health cannot be adjusted short of a patch.
However, the % bonuses given from the Fitness tree can be adjusted.
So in effect, the weekly balance change fixes they do will all work on the base 500 Shields he has right now.
This is correct.

Quoting to simplify it for people new to the thread.
Thanks a lot for the info!

Yes, an unfortunate oversight
We are discussing some form of compensation for him since we can't change health/shields through live updates.

If weapon damage could be buffed (he is a soldier after all) and Sabotage cooldown be lowered (even cut in half?) that would be superb.

How is an awesome Picard picture douchebaggery? Seriously, actually wondering.
And yeah, I made a joke, didn't personally insult anyone, and you think it's okay to personally insult me? Clearly you are the voice of reason.

Not really sure how he failed to notice that he mentions that he already mentioned the Tech Armor thing (all but Paladin, Batarian, Vorcha, and Volus have it), or yourself for that matter. But anyway...Black Crisis wrote...

You're forgetting about Singularity, something that a lot of people are still confused about not being included with the krogan shaman (for instance) considering there was a big to-do about singularity being fixed.

Veruca Salt is a person (kind of), and the picture presumes that you feel some sort of entitement. Bugs happen and will be fixed. Don't get your knickers in a bunch.

How about more damage taken for tac scan or damage buff for marksman? Or you could buff his passives and give him a 35% damage buff instead of the normal 22.5 (or is it 27.5%).
