Anyone else sick of Infiltrators ?

Can't disagree with anything you said Feneckus. Pretty much every significant nerf has involved the infiltrator class and some of them have had serious effects on other classes. BW really kicked themselves from the get go with TC, it's effects on other abilities and the insane damage modifiers provided by it. Nine months later and they still can't get a firm grasp on balancing anything around infiltrators.

It's hard to admit but it's true... They have to lower the Tactical Cloak dmg bonus, cooldown should be fixed (no more 3 sec cd with have loadouts)... and if the powers used under the TC have longer CD then TC it should be taken into account...

For variety? Because that's not a common shooter game?
Do you play every character with reegar+incendiary rounds because it's the most effective weapon?
I'm sure someone does it.
Now I agree that some infiltrators are really powerful, but if we start to establish tiers then of course the logical answer is to play only the most powerful one, forgetting all the others.

Only a few of the infils are 'OP' w/ full equips, the best guns in the game, and when not pugging. And? Why should BW nerf a whole class (again) cause of this?

I dun really see why the HI, FQI, Shadow, Huntress, and even the SI deserve a nerf, tbh.

Did everyone forget that Infiltrators are TRAINED ASSASSINS? That's why they have such a high damage boost. The element of surprise will inflict more damage on a victim than some psycho running around trying to bludgeon everyone in sight (even in real life). The victim can brace for the pain and if there is more than one, the others can attempt to escape/retreat and figure out how to tactically overcome the psycho.

Tactical Cloak isn't perfect and MOST people spec for duration because survivability is more enticing for them. The die-hards and true snipers/shotgunners spec for damage.

Regardless, the SI is and will always be my favorite infiltrator. If anyone tries to nerf my Fury, there will be hell to pay.

I agree with Feneckus broadly, except on the weapons part especially the Krysae and on removing infiltrators to improve the game.

The problems I see are:

A) Scaled cooldowns. By cloak->fire cycling I can maintain around 2.5 (afair) sec of every 3 sec with a 80%+ damage boost. Honestly, that should be tossed out, hence fixing the whole "infiltrators don't care about weight" issue.

B) 80% general damage boost, more with appropriate load-out/evolutions. Strikes me as a bit on the high side, 70% I think would be better.

A cloak that is generally used for half a second to get a higher damage output isn't a cloak. It's nothing more than a cheap damage boost and broken by design.
And while I generally don't mind infiltrators that much (unless there is three of them and I draw all the aggro with my squishy Fury) the class should be renamed. Because it sure as hell isn't an infiltrator.

To make the infiltrators in ME3 actual infiltrators, they should get a cloak that acutally hides them from enemy vision (up to a certain distance of course) and does not provide any significant damage boost. That would be an infiltrator.

While this is enjoyablesomething like this should be a trademark of the Soldier class,not the soldier-engineer hybrid.

Its absolutly idiotic that Soldiers have to worry about cooldowns.(except the Destroyer)

Nope. I love being an infiltrator so much that I put on my cloak while I eat. It applies massive taste potency to my food. Not to mention when it's late at night and I've got a stiffy. No need to hide that nonsense with your cloak. Just get it on and ****** ****** ****** until the sun comes up.

Yep, you are right. And when they shorten TC time it actually doesn't affect the class. The only first level characters i easy pay gold those with TC (Infiltrators + Voluses).

you can do that without cloak. Just run perpendicular to their line of sight. Their tracking speed is slower than any character's sprint, outside of destroyer with devastator mode on.

Not sure whether this is a good idea, but would changing the cloak to one similar to borderlands 2 work? Eg. The damage bonus increases the longer you are cloaked
