For variety? Because that's not a common shooter game?
Do you play every character with reegar+incendiary rounds because it's the most effective weapon?
I'm sure someone does it.
Now I agree that some infiltrators are really powerful, but if we start to establish tiers then of course the logical answer is to play only the most powerful one, forgetting all the others.

I dun really see why the HI, FQI, Shadow, Huntress, and even the SI deserve a nerf, tbh.

Tactical Cloak isn't perfect and MOST people spec for duration because survivability is more enticing for them. The die-hards and true snipers/shotgunners spec for damage.
Regardless, the SI is and will always be my favorite infiltrator. If anyone tries to nerf my Fury, there will be hell to pay.

The problems I see are:
A) Scaled cooldowns. By cloak->fire cycling I can maintain around 2.5 (afair) sec of every 3 sec with a 80%+ damage boost. Honestly, that should be tossed out, hence fixing the whole "infiltrators don't care about weight" issue.

To make the infiltrators in ME3 actual infiltrators, they should get a cloak that acutally hides them from enemy vision (up to a certain distance of course) and does not provide any significant damage boost. That would be an infiltrator.

Its absolutly idiotic that Soldiers have to worry about cooldowns.(except the Destroyer)

you can do that without cloak. Just run perpendicular to their line of sight. Their tracking speed is slower than any character's sprint, outside of destroyer with devastator mode on.Constant Motion wrote...

There are no real stealth mechanics in the game. No real utility from cloak. So they have to compensate it with damage buffs and other stuff.
Which I like. That utility should be preserved. As should the ability to gain damage bonuses from a cloak. Not sure how to solve it.
