Are you kidding me? On top of looking almost nothing like before, she looks like she went in for about a dozen plastic surgeries... Bad ones. She's one of the most ugliest females in the ME series in ME3. She reminds me of Michael Jackson after his surgeries. Conversely, she looks really good in ME2, by the OP's own image.
In before "but that's not a screenshot from the game!"
Anyway, Ashley does look best in ME2 even if the pic in the OP is of her ME2 character model and not an in-game screenshot, her character model in ME1 looks good too (she looks great in the squad screen), whereas her ME3 character model (on Troodon's Deviant Art page) looks like something out of The Only Way is Essex

She's always looked like a transvestite.
But I think she's been forgetting to take her pills by the time ME3 comes around.
Hey hey, the age old tranny joke. You gonna say Miranda looks like Michael Jackson too?
What is this amatuer hour?
I've seen a gif where Miranda morphs into Michael Jackson, it's creepy

They still should have gave her a ponytail and more heavy/medium armor for alternate appearances
That or the short hair she had in that making of ME3 app they had for iPad and other apple devices

And Ashley doesn't have her own opinions? She's well known for speaking her mind and not caring what anyone else thinks. That's always been a big part of her character.
True. It's just that her opinions are born from ignorance and racism. She doesn't understand the way the galaxy works, and she is a rather limited character.

Frick fine
It's not racism/blind hate. It's distrust based on family and personnal experience.
There is a difference and it's easily seen when she explains her background. In ME1 she just didn't want Shepard to get burned for trusting people, who to her, had given no reason to be fully trusted. Except maybe Garrus.
You can argue that Shepard is a Spectre all you want, but is it really so illogical to think that maybe there just might be a problem with letting unknowns onto a proto-type military vessel and letting them walk around freely? Or that a government that hasn't always had the Alliance's back will pull through when we need it to? That's what the dog and master quote was refering too, not some deep seeded hatred for all things non human.
You can also see her get along perfectly fine with the others in elevator rides, and such, even if she does lose her temper when they go off on tangents during meetings.
Speaking of the elevator rides, Wrex doesn't seem to care that she doesn't like aliens, someone at London Expo mentioned him hitting on her during ones of the convos and I'll admit I'd already thought that myself, it was the first thing I thought when I saw that conversation.
