The times I'm outscored are rare with PUGs and usually by a suicidal PUG type, the only players that I know fully capable of Runn and Blast, aggressive without falling often are liek Uh Cold,Ashen, INVADER, and fairly "famous ME3MP players also Lord there is one of them, I'm not "Kissing up" but that's how they do it aggressive play and missiling enemy groups just as they spawn, when these ppl outscore me I already aware of "why" now when I'm outscored by multiple dingbats, that outscored me due to the fact they DIDNT have the damn arse time to res me.... then I get pissed, other than that naw no worries about score as long as I can even out the numbers, I don't mind carrying a person even as long as he at least tried and is a good sport about it I figure. mostly PUGs just tick me off hwo they present "fighting over resing" or judge me for falling, for as many times as I happen to resed Ashen (3 times) the game I played with him. there's no foul in falling at all, and judgment of score should be based upon, action performance, I'm always tracing my local to my allies and remain at a section meters away from them to make a savior dash, the issue with most players is they value score over performance and sometimes value "falling" or "sync killed" as a purely failure of person when at times you are caught in some deep crud and you really can't get out

Sorry for the wordiness of this but, in all honestly it's not about the score it's about how smooth and fun you can have, I don't like games that make me extend myself past 3 times my limit, I hate clutching as it makes me feel dumb...as I have heavy reliance of "team work" and assistance aid always, I'm the guy that don't just rush in and save you, I'mma murder things in your name if you fall down

I had to litterally clutch a game with Uh COld in it cause the dork that I kept snagging into woudn't stop to think at all that he was cornerd and blocked me from exit a few times killing me, which by proxy killed Uh Cold, I had to litterally clutch the last ramaints of the Collector Gold round, I felt so stupid doing it cause I used 3 medi gels and 2 rockets to reduce the roudn down (I was a QFI with sabotage and a IX BW) the guy "tried" to outscore Uh Cold by stalking him which annoyed me

I should love being outscored, as for the last couple of days it seemed that every time I was leading the scoreboard throughout all waves, team wipe before extraction was assured.

But I don't. But as long as I hit the 100k score mark in an UUG game I feel that I did my part.

If I'm first in a Gold game by much of a noticeable margin, it's probably a really bad run.

Being outscored usually means I've been playing below my own standards and therefore I don't really enjoy it all that much.

Seeing as I'm 90% of the way to getting points for spectre mastery, I try to max points every match so tend not to get beaten much at the moment.

The worst run on gold I performed was a 250k+ score on my part, I hated the group cause I was forced to do pretty much all the work... missile spawns all the works I hate playing like that they basically made the match private and some AFKed about 70%of the time, after the game I got a message saying thanks for the leech run, also saying "you have to be the first person ever to complete one of our leech runs on gold congrats" ....I was so flippin ticked I used "EVERY" type of consumable I had to get through the round, the only grace I had was... sabotage the geth snipe BOOM, sabotage snipe BOOM ntoalby pyros where my target of sabotage to cause double boom ...still ticked <_<

Well, if the game is running smoothly and my teammates are completely stomping the enemy, I don't mind taking a sip of scotch and hanging back to watch the flanks.

Outscored doesn't not equate to better than or knowledged. I've seen plenty of noobies by Kroguard, Shadow, NovaGuard, Demolisher or Destroyer and get top score. Those are button mashing characters. They will also play the OP characters because they lack skill to play the others decently, so they compensate for that. They are usually the ones you are yelling at to get in the hack circle or stop pressing the Hazard map button.

No sir. Top score does NOT mean better.

BS. None of the classes are hard to play. None. Vanguards are just as technical as any other class. You button mash as a vanguard you'll die. A noobie with the classes you mentioned shouldn't be topping the charts with other highly skilled players in the game.

As some here i love to be outscored because then it usualy is a relaxed game for the hole team.

If i see some one or two getting the same score as me i tend to hold back a little and watch their back while they do their job up front. And if i know the others in the team can do good damage i will play a Volus to boost them.

Depends on the class and weapon, but honestly, I mostly like feeling like I'm better than or on par with everyone on the team. Group I play with currently, we all score pretty well. Since I know we're all decent players, I like outscoring them. It validates the notion that I'm not a huge drain on the team.

I prefer it when we're all close, but I also do like being top scorer in that close spread. I don't really mind NOT being that, so long as I'm not horrendously, disproportionately low.

Depends on the difficulty and classes played.
For example, when playing an Asari Valkyrie on Silver, it's rare I don't end up first. However, when playing Turian Sentinel or Asari Justicar on Gold with vironblood in the team, I'm usually very happy if I don't end up last :D

It is rare for me to get outscored if I am in a pick-up game, so I really don't mind it at all. Just means I have a fairly decent teammate MOST of the time. Score doesn't mean everything, but I also would never want to be carried either since I like pulling my own weight.

If you go by speedruns which take a lot of teamwork to perfect everyone should be getting fairly similar scores. In a pick-up it is pretty much every man/woman for themselves and I will revive them if I can, I simply learned I can't trust a random teammate to be in the same mindset I would be in (meaning most don't care if they leech and often get defensive when I ask why they won't use their consumables. I will check N7HQ if someone has a certain weapon like a Harrier X and see if they have anything and they always do).

Honestly, if I'm not at the top of the score board, or at least way ahead of the bottom scorers, I feel like I'm dragging the team down. I know it's silly, especially when playing with builds simply not cut out for killing things super fast, but there you have it.

Don't care about score.
As long as I've done all I can to help with objectives, kept mistakes to a minimum, I'm happy whatever the final score or ranking.

If I top the scoreboard, but make a mistake that costs the tean the win, what's the use? Might as well have got nothing.

Most of the time I'm usually in the top 2, but I started playing the Volus classes alot, so with them I place around 3rd/4th.
I focus more on shield boosting team-mates, so I won't get as much points as them.

I don't mind getting outscored as long as he/she doesn't have twice my score ;). I love games with everyone being close together in scores because they are usually the best ones.

I do enjoy not having to do everything. Whenever I get a pug working wtih me instead of against me I'm thrilled, if he outscores me - great! That's the guy/girl I want on my team.

The best matches are when I'm outscored or the scores are all fairly even, that's when that great synergy stuff happens, so I don't mind if I am.

Doesn't happen often, but I love it when I do. It gives me someone to monitor over a few rounds and learn from. What are they doing differently, is it a play style thing, a luck thing, is it "genuine" or earned at the expense of the team (eg rambo-ing on objectives or ignoring a much needed res in order to cap a few trash mobs)

The only time it gets me down is if its a flamer user... I know flames work, but I find they cheapen the match for everyone else.

Conversely though, I do worry about being the top scorer a lot.  Am I the rambo-ing jerk that no one wants to play with? Did I miss a res or get tunnel vision through an objective wave.  Did the host leave at the end because they had to leave, or because they don't know how to kick me, etc etc..

It made me a better player, forced me to memorize what spawns on what wave, and gave me some variety in gameplay from something other than the 4 player / duo games.

When I do it I also share the information in hopes of making other people better.
I do this in every game I play.

Are you sure it's correct thread? If so, than i didn't understand what do you mean :C

I don't like coming in last, makes me feel like I wasn't doing crap the whole game. It rarely happens, but when it does, I feel like I could have done better. Usually in those games, the people I play with just kill everything really fast and effectively.
