I don't know about 5 but I generally use my remaining missiles on 11 to group spawns away from extraction.
I usually try to save 1 missile for that teammate I know will get grabbed.

You mean like not being second third or fourth?

My checklist for enjoyment.

[ ] Didn't go down on wave 1.
[ ] Latency is less than 3 seconds.
[ ] We got out.
[ ] We got paid.

I pull my weight, if someone is getting more points than me despite that it doesn't bother me at all.  So from the fact that I play to enjoy myself (how novel), and that I still have fun when I come in dead last...yes I enjoy getting outscored.

As an aside, I don't hate on wave 11 missile farmers.  But I snicker when they miss and *totally obliterate* a lone trooper.

I don't play gold much, but in general I don't care if I get out scored.

If I am getting outscored, so long as I am not playing like a noob, it likely means the mission is going fairly smoothly and I'm on a good team. I'd take that over having to revive players every 20 seconds while having to kill 3/4 of the enemies just to get through the mission any day.

I hate it because it usually means I am lagging like a **** and I don't like dbz style of fighting (teleport), getting beat on score without lag is good because I can take it easy.

Getting destroyed in score without lag to blame isn't a nice feeling but that hasn't happened since April.

I won't play with people that can out score me.
If it happens once I tell them to stop showing off
If it happens again I remove them from my friends list

I suppose this is an ideal place for some sort of smiley
but I hate smileys

I don't care if I'm getting outscored.  I care whether we finish the match and look good doing it (e.g. not burning a ton of consumables).  Unless I'm playing with 3 elite players who are destroying everything before I can even get a shot off, I'm going to have fun.

I figure if people want to use their consumables, more power to them. Unless those missiles kill a group of enemies and they spawn right on top of me and one shot me, which can happen thanks to Bioware's "fixed" spawns.

Before I got the "Best of the best" banner I didn't care about the score, sometimes I outscored people, other times I was outscored, of course.
But since I use that banner everytime I play with randoms( and sometimes with friends too), everyone seems to be focused only on outscoring me, just to show me( and themselves) that I'm not really the best.
Which is quite stupid, to be honest, I never thought I was the best and I cannot be always 1st just because I wear that banner.

To everyone that will play with me: kick off your shoes, put your feet up, lean back and relax, I don't think I'm better than you and if you help me( and I help you) to win I don't care if you're million points over me. Seriously!

Holy hell, I really hope Bioware will change the title, cause it seems to drive the other people crazy.

So what really matters to me is to reach wave 11 and to have fun, even if I'm outscored and even if I'M SUPPOSED TO BE FIRST JUST BECAUSE I USE THA F***ING BANNER!

I don't mind getting outscored. The group of people I play with are so damn good I'm happy if I'm close in score most games. I just want to win/extract most times. A missile to save a teammate or help with an objective is every bit as important as one that nukes a spawn. I've came out on top of the scoreboard and thought the third or fourth place person was more important to the team because of how they play.

Long as the team wins, I don't care who scores highest lol. I'll freely admit when I was in melee mode (Completed combat mastery last night) I was high scorer a lot, but it was about the badge I was going for, not the score. Now that I have it I'm gonna mellow out and do the sniper version of Tai Kwon Leep.

I get super self conscious if I'm at the top of the scoreboard. I'm not a1337 player in the slightest and if I see my name at the top, my first thought is 'everybody must be worse than me' followed closely by 'we're all gonna die'.

I'm okay with it as long as the guy doesn't outscore me by doing something unnecessary like spamming missiles at boss types, usually near the very end of the game.

If you earned it, you deserve it.

If it's by 10k or a small margin it's enough wasn't fast enough with something.
If I'm doubling over somethings wrong with my loadout or build and it's back to the drawing board to get it mended.

Usually I find holes in my builds in games where I get outscored so it's kind of a whipping yourself on the fingers with a ruler kind of thing.

I get this sometimes too.  If it's Silver, then we'll probably be alright (unless it's Collectors).  If it's Gold, we're probably not going to make it past Wave 6.  If it's Platinum, it probably means everyone bled out on Wave 1 and I managed to stay alive an extra 2 minutes.

I gladly welcome being outscored. That means atleast one other person is contributing as much I am.

Oh, it depends on my mood and such.  I played a bronze match the other day, and came in 4th.   But I was totally not trying... and I stood around a lot, admiring the scenery, and shooting the random mook that came near me.  Don' t get me wrong, I did all objectives and would rush over to revive, but i was really just coasting through.  I tried to keep enemies off of my teammates, otherwise I was just lollygagging around because... I dunno...

Otherwise, if it's a normal match (where I'm actually trying Image IPB) I would hope I wouldn't be in 4th place...  or I wouldn't feel like I was pulling my weight, 1st or 2nd is good enough... Image IPB

Depends. Most of the time I don't care because it makes me want to work that much harder. If someone does outscore me significantly because they are just better than me, then I get on BSN and look up their manifest and character build. Gives me some good ideas. More often than not though, when the score is significantly higher than mine, its usually due to those stupid missile glitchers or I'm having an off game because: I picked something I'm not familiar with and am sucking, cannot seem to find the bad guys, or the massive amounts of glitches I run into.

Edit:

This does not bother me if its not cheating.  I like the easy end to the wave or match, and if they use theirs instead of me having to use mine thats even better.  Too many people dont use missiles when it is absolutely necessary, but that is for a different topic.

I thoroughly enjoy being outscored. 9 times out of 10 it means we are competing for kills and having a blast pushing each other to do better.

However, sometimes being outscored is a natural result of spawn management. I'll gladly block a few spawn points while another rides ahead to demolish everything. That's teamwork! It always feels great to finish with everybody having scores within a very narrow range of each other.

So to reiterate: YES!
