As long as I got that $ in a decent time I could care less how many points anybody has.
Does anyone else actually enjoy getting outscored?

Who cares!!
This, pretty much. I don't see a point in going for pure score in a co-op game. If I cared about scoreboard, I'd go play a game where it actually mattered and not ME3.

This.
There are a few matches where I felt I was carried. This happens mostly when I get a new character and first time using that character. Or when playing the volus:pinched:

No it pisses me off. Especially when I'm outscored by an Infiltrator.

I don't get excited, but it's a nice break from having to carry a pug and outscoring others by 200k.

This. I do my best to contribute as much as I can in every match.

It normally always makes me play better when someone is outscoring me. I step my game up and get more serious than I normally am. Which is fun sometimes.
Although I do have to say, outscoring a couple of my friends on Platinum with a level 1 adept is fun too. I've only done it once, I was just joking around with an Acolyte and HA. Singularity + Shockwave, Reaper/Giant/Platinum. I used Power Amp IV, Pistol Amp I, Warp Ammo IV, and Structural Ergonomics. It was one of the best games I had. I still had 3 med gels, 1 rocket, and 3 op packs at the end of the game. My final score was around 80-90k and I came in second. My friend who was first was playing a Trooper build for max flame damage. The friend who was last place was a Volus Engineer, his score was around 60-70k, and Third, I forgot what they were, had about 70-80k. It was a very fun match. So in that particular case I guess I enjoyed being outscored cause the match as a whole was fun to me.
Generally I don't care about score though. But like I said, sometimes I find it fun to get a little competitive.

Don't mind getting outscored at all because it means my teammates know what they are doing and the game will go by faster.

I can hornestly say I dont care aslong as I did at least 70K and dident die 20 times like some do.
The thing is if I play as a Adept Drell I usuallt end up scoring 120 000 or more but die more often then if I play a Turian Havoc soldier but only score around 60 - 80 000. But also as an TH I usually revive people a lot more and debuff enemies.
Well as somebody else said as long as I dont feel like Im being carried.

I actually prefer/like those rare games where everyone scores within like 10k of each other. Those are the best.

As long as they do the objectives and dont die, yes. Shows they are efficient at wiping mobs and I can just sit back and chill. Dont need the points no more since I have spectre mastery already.

I wouldn't know as the only person who can outscore me is one of my friends.

Couldn't care less if I get outscored. Generally play with the same group of friends and it can be a round-robin of who is at the top depending on build/map/enemy.
I'm more interested in the overall point spread. In most of our matches we remain reasonably close in points indicating that our builds work well together and each of us is eliminating enemies at an equal pace. It is extremely rare to have anyone double someone else's points unless its a low rank build or an unfamiliar one or just an unlucky match for the low man on the totem pole. The next match they could very easily be top dog.

While it's 'nice' to get a top score I don't care if I'm bottom, and I usually am if I play as a shield spamming Volus.
All I care about is doing the objectives in a speedy fashion for bonus credits. That is all that matters really. (Maybe I'm really a Volus) ...and having fun of course.
What does annoy me though is those that the score appears to matter... the players who don't join in objectives. Seems to happen mostly on Bronze though.

I could care less what the score is (even though I am usually on top). I play with friends and just wanna have fun and complete the mission.

not at all. I care about the game going smoothly and being enjoyable. Getting first it's a plus for me, and if you're wondering I tend to finish second

I don't enjoy getting gloated when I get outscored.
"UUUH I OUTSCORED YOU ARPPIS! HAHA!" or "WHERE'S YOUR A-GAME NOW, ARPPIS?!", etc...

Only person who's allowed to outscore me is my future kid. :| Then I know, that I have nothing more to teach to lil bugger and I can kick him/her out from the house.

I dont mind it, i play for fun. If i let that simply scoring determine my playstyle then i leave playing games.
Peace!

As long as I don't die often or in a manner that risks the safety of my team, and we succeed, I don't even worry about score. I do enjoy watching the (CoD?) try-hard mentality in action though, especially on bronze. It makes me laugh every time I see someone intentially trying to post the best score, especially when missiles come out on wave 11. Besides, if you beat me by 100k score when you used Warp + incendiary ammo, we both know how much skill that method requires (although they are almost always the first to trash-talk afterwards).

After giving it some thought (but not much) you realize that this is a coop game.. not a vs or competition game... everybody needs to put his/her part to finish the mission succesfully which is very satisfying. who cares about the score? eventually everybody shares the same ammount of exp so it doesnt matter.
