I have to agree. It has its faults just like any game. But damn it, the emotional impact is unmatched by any game I've played. And I've played a lot of games in the past 25 years....Gtox69 wrote...

**** the whiners !! Congrats Bioware
Mass effect 3 was one of the best games I ever played!
Agree 100%. It wasn't perfect, but as a gaming experience raised the bar siginificantly. ME1 and ME2 were both excellent, but I prefer ME3 because, for me, the quality of the visuals (I don't just mean in terms of improved texture resolution, but the beauty/visual appeal of the various locations - Sur'kesh, Tuchanka, most of the N7 missions, Thessia, Rannoch, and a few others), combined with the intensity of the plot, made for a much more immersive, emotive and enjoyable experience. Which is why I play computer games in the first place.
I know its not one of the stand out parts of the game.....but I'm going on my 12th playthrough of ME3, and I swear I still get the shivers and tense up during the final farewells on Earth.
12th playthrough?!? I thought I was doing well with half a dozen. You're right about the emotional impact. When you look at the various character love/hate threads here, and the thousands of responses that they generate, you realise what a good job Bioware did with the characters. A character needs to be realistic to be disliked, and few of the characters generated indifference.
