I feel curious about what you call actual porn.

Anyway it´s from 2011, and no big name behind. So no chance.

I was indulging in hyperbole, to be sure.

But "sex cards" of naked women designed to titillate is pretty much the definition of pornography.

But this is a topic for another time.

Undeserved. There are far better games out there. If it had been one of the VA or DLC awards, I'd have thought it fair. But ME3 does not provide the consistent level of quality needed for GOTY. GOTY needs to be good throughout, not in a select few aspects.

Kind of feels like ME3 was chosen for its value as a controversy rather than as a quality product.

The Witcher 2 is a good, sometimes great game the story of which has become overrated in the wake of the ME3 controversy. This is still a game that decided to fully render sex scenes instead of key flashback scenes that provided insight into the main overarching story.

Hence why i dont buy gaming magazine.....

When a GOTY turns you away from the series then i'm not sure what GOTY actually means other than £££

Ah sweet fanboy-hate tears. They're even sweater because people still haven't got over the ending, which is equal parts pathetic/ridiculous/hilarious.

U mad bros?

Not over the ending, just over the usual gaming media pandering to the publishers and screwing over the consumers.

Why?

I don't think there's EVER been ANY media publication that had the consumer's best interests in mind.

And yes, that includes Consumer Reports.

Maybe that's why. Especially cause there's still people that believe. Hell we got people on this very forum who thinks that ME 3 is the best game eva and states the 75 perfect reviews to give their argument weight, while ignoring every flaw pointed out.

No GOTYs are perfect. In a lot of reviewers' eyes, ME3's strengths far outshine its flaws.

And believe it or not, ME3 isn't objectively bad despite what people on BSN say otherwise.

Not to mention, there are only a handful of games this year that even deserve a GOTY nomination.

LOL!  I love when the people who purchased the game are the problem.

You know, we should just get rid of the people who play games.  Then everything would be awesome!

I'm one of those, BTW. I don't care about the scores, but I feel it is a very very good game.

That's just opinion, dude. You just have to relax and let people have different opinions. You'll be a lot less up-in-arms, trust me.

The IT thread has has three threads, each reaching hundreds (scratch that, thousands) of pages. Now tell me does everyone on the BSN care about the Indoctrination Theory? Same with the massive character threads.

Dismissing someone's post as opinion and then going on to post a whole bunch of opinions is just funny, that's all. I wasn't objecting to your score of 70-80 specifically.

Your line of thinking that changing things from ME1 during the course of the series is objectively bad is a good place to start when showing just how biased your "objectivity" is. In actuality I am not alone in thinking ME2's streamlined gameplay made for a better game, even if it was less of an RPG.

I am dismissing only one-line defense of world´s gamming journalism which is not just blindly deffending ME3 without proper defense, they get this game 90+ bcz it has action, blasts, giant squids and sex... and they are overlooking reasons why some of fans dislike some things about game with words like it´s BioWare´s artistic integrity.

I was talking mainly about storytelling, dialogs, decisions, lore that´s were the reason why I bought these games if I wanted to play games only for their gameplay then I would play COD, GOW, Killzone and lot of others FPS games.

I am not saying that ME 2 was bad, I like it as much gameplay also storytelling aside from few minor issues but
ME3 certainly is downhill of its predecessors.
