Mine is somewhat mutilated version of my real life nickname. I kinda messed up and thus the 'i', I don't use that unless it would be too short.

A Scamp is a lesser Daedroth in the Elder Scrolls : Morrowind. Unfortunately, it was already taken, so I added a couple 'o's at the end. No, it has nothing to do with shampoo or anyone's asses.

Crescent Unit Auintus from the "Five Saints of Wutai" mission in Crisis Core.
I thought it looked cool. Still not sure how to pronounce it, though...

I've been using millahnna since the mid 90s... it's loosely based on a name from a story I wrote and I never have to put numbers after it. There's only one site where I use a different screenie and it's because EA is the devil (they ate my account when they bought out pogo.com and then proceeded to be complete jerks about it when I contacted customer service). Actually I take that back... I use a different handle at Television Without Pity as well, but that's because I try to avoid being connected to that site and the insanity that passes for conversation there. Makes this place on balance change day look like a fresh breath of sanity.

Oliveira stands for my last name.
A and M are my first name initial and my brother's. Since we both use the account to play, i stick with this.

Crazy came up because i like to be a little crazy every now and then. Rah comes from Sarah which is what i named my Shepard and it's also the name of my favorite character in any game whatsoever. Also Rah sounds almost like rawr! In the end people end up mostly calling me Rah since it's just so short

Was playing a full Asari squad on mp once and after the wave finished, they all started yelling "For Thessia!" i found it funny and since I love Asari I just chose it

SlabHardcheese is an anti e-peen satire of macho superheroes. It was either that or SplintChesthair.

I saw an ad of car named Kizashi once and I went like that's the perfect name for a samurai warrior. I removed the I and entered an A and hence it became S[Samurai]W[Warrior]Kazashi.

My favourite game character of all time is Solid Snake, so I wanted something with Snake in it. I hate having numbers, so I went through alot of cool sounding first words, that could be similar to "Solid Snake," and found Flaming Snake.
Works pretty well I think, also cause I like burning things...

Mine is different parts of my name mashed together... it was an account name that was originally created for me, and I've used it ever since, because it is never ever taken, and I'm not forced to add unecessary numbers to make it unique.

This name isn't really mine. It's my husband's, but since I wouldn't be able to post anything with my actual account (no game registered under that name), I just use his cause he doesn't care and thinks forums are for geeks anyway, lol.

Alex M Brennan is literally a name I picked at random (well, semi-random in that it was the first one that didn't sound weird).
Before that I used ManAtArms - mostly for CoD; it was intended both as a Discworld reference and a reference to professional soldiers (to signify that I play the objectives rather than camping to get kills whilst the enemies plant the bomb)

Had a mind blank coming up with a name when signing up to a forum a few years ago. This song was playing in the background however so used it and have used it as my screen name since then.

I used DeathBringer back in the early days of online multiplayer (Doom, Quake, and such), up until Team Fortress classic for Half-Life. I changed over to Anubis then, and tacked on the TPF (originally was Team Planet Fortress, but it slowly changed to mean Team Play First) a few months later.

My screen name is just used a name I've had back when aol and aim where really popular. My gt came from a friend who said I had a lot of a certain haitian spirit in me and three random numbers.

Great thread OP!
Back in the Medal of Honor days, (when I was 6 or 7), tanks in multiplayer where unheard of. So, when you got to drive a King Tiger in MOHAA, and BF1942, I was absolutely obsessed with tanks (TBH have always been). So, being the kid I was, my name was Tankcommander. Sometimes people steal that screenname and I have to go T4nkcommander, but I've always just stuck with it.
Perks are that everyone immediately assumes I know what I'm doing in a tank, but the downside is everyone calls me Tank, which gets confusing when someone says "Tank, over there!, meaning they spotted something as opposed to me needing look out.

Been using this name everywhere for years but it originates from my sister whom is alergic to peanut butter and so calls it the 'Jam of Death'. Switch those round and you get my name.
